"We had a day of king salmon fishing planned in the area, so we decided to stay in Soldotna for the night. We paid $234 for a double queen room. The room had several issues. The air conditioner rattled throughout the night, one of the mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and the door was difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated an early check-in, which we appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not at this price point. While there were some positives, the condition of the room did not match the cost."

"The hotel is less than 100 feet off a 4 lane highway, it was very noisy. Yes there is the river in the back, but no solitude. The WiFi was so slow the phone kept trying to switch to the network for connection."

"If we could give this property 10 stars we would! It’s a sweet, cozy and comfortable place that’s beautifully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is amazing! It’s equipped with everything one needs and much much more. The comfy bedroom and well laid out bathroom complete this unit, that’s perfect for a 2 person, quiet getaway. And…communications with the hosts are great!"

"The property was perfect, could have easily accommodated 2 more people. Every detail was well thought out, kitchen was fully stocked down to dishwashing soap and sponge, what more could you ask for. HEATED also. AWESOME, would definitely recommend. "
