Nara Hotel Guide - Kasugayama Hill Primeval Forest hotels in Nara, Japan.

"A very charming Ryokon excellent accommodation with lovely service by mother and daughter superb well worth visiting well located for heritage site👍👍"

"This property is close to Nara Park and many great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Amazing place to stay in Nara, located right in the Park but in a quiet area. Delicious traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, they were even able to accommodate vegetarian requests. Sleeping on the tatami was special!! Very attentive and kind staff, the only note is that they don't speak English so make sure to have your phone with you with Google translate, especially at the restaurant. The matcha tea ceremony was cute but very rushed (10 minutes in total)."

"Tsukihitei is truly an extraordinary place. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful traditional setting, exceptional service, and attention to every detail made the experience unforgettable. It feels like stepping into a hidden gem where Japanese elegance and warm hospitality come together perfectly. A truly special place that I highly recommend."

"Host was extremely helpful The property was very clean, with kind thoughtful touches Great location, beautifully decorated Would highly recommend"

"The hotel felt more like a guest house, very clean and well stocked with good signage on how to use everything. Fantastic location, i wish we had booked more days."

"Comfortable, clean, and safe place Close to shopping, town center"

"The hotel is in an idyllic setting facing a small body"

"Amazing welcome Food delicious "

"We warmly recommend the Bakery Château d'or hotel. We felt welcome, the room was comfortable and the food excellent."

"The restaurant, convenience and staff -- excellent."

"This is one of a handful of classy historic hotels near major rural attractions in Japan. A real old fashioned high-end style and treatment that makes you think you're in the 1930s. The location is convenient to the Nara Park where the historic attractions are located. It is not in walking distance of either train station."

"Clean room Comfortable beds Beautiful decor and furnishings Staff was super friendly and helpful"

"Though I only stayed there for one night, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. My room was really nice, and it was a good experience."

"Super convenient friendly hotel"

"Overall property was excellent and location was great within walking distance to all the famous temples in Nara Park. However when requesting a taxi to take us back to the train station it took longer than expected and we missed our train departure. Also taxi/car is limited as the hotel is located directly in the park. Walking is faster but with heavy luggage it’s not very convenient."

"Not bad"
