NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE.

We got to the hotel at the end of a dirt roa, to check in, at around 7:15pm. The main gate was SHUT and there WAS NO ONE THERE.. We asked s couple of neighbors who said the guard had left and they hadn’t seen any guests come there for a while. It was raining and dark, we were stranded in the area which was new to us, went to two different hotels and finally after two hours found somewhere to stay for the night. The hotel via hotels.com took full payment at the time of booking.

When we reached the property, the gates were closed, it was dark and desolate. They had no knowledge of my booking and I asked to cancel my booking. I want my money refunded 100%.

Fantastisk service och lugnt o skönt.

Helt fantastiskt bemötande av personal (som på många ställen i Sri Lanka). Vi skulle åka på safari kl.5 på morgonen och de var uppe o stekte cocos rokis till oss vid 4:30 och packade ihop en matsäck till oss. Stället är otroligt lugnt och väldigt fint, inte alls som de andra hotellen och home stays vi varit på där trafiken brummat hela natten. Då vi inte fick igång wi-fi direkt så löste de det åt oss. Vi fick önska vad vi ville ha till middag så åkte de och handlade. Middagen var stekt ris med grönsaker och kyckling - kostade 1800 rupees för två pers så ganska dyrt, men gott! Glass till efterrätt - 300rp. Te på rummet 100rp. Tänk på att det är en bit att köra till Yala. Rekommenderas!

Rent hotell med underbar personal

Rent och väldigt välskött hotell som ligger en bit utanför Kataragama och gränsar mot naturreservatet Yala. Otroligt vänlig och hjälpsam personal som alltid välkomnade en med välkomstdrink i form färskpressad juice och som såg till att packa matsäck kl 5 på morgonen när man skulle iväg på safari.
