We were given a "Business Room" that was spacious but very, very run down. The bed was awful and you could feel every move and shake in it, which is terrible with a small child. The couch was very worn and weirdly short. The desk and table had spill stains that wouldn't come out. The toilet flushers were broken plastic and constantly getting stuck. The cleaning products used in the hallways smelled terrible, like toxic levels of naphthalene. The jacuzzi water was orange. Not suitable to swim in. The pool looked nicely maintained but it's too deep for kids. Staff was the only redeeming thing. They were very nice, kind, over and above to be helpful. They brought a surprise cake for my spouse's birthday and didn't charge us for a mistake made at check-in. I felt bad that they had to work at a hotel trust wasn't living up to the Radisson standard. We would not have stayed here if it wasn't required for our program. I get that it's Kathmandu and it's difficult to get supplies or make repairs quickly, but there's other new hotels that are both better and less expensive.

Good property with fitness rooms and pool on the roof. Breakfast was good and so were the attache restaurants. This is a busy area but the hotel is set back off the busy street which is good.

the hotel staff were very friendly and kind. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! The food tasty and inexpensive overall. Unfortunately, some of the clerks in the shops in the lobby took a hard-sell approach to customers.

We came to celebrate our 25th anniversary and for the night I forgot I was in Nepal. The bed was like a cloud. The pillows amazing. We treated ourself to a spa treatment and that was wonderful as well. It was a great place to relax and celebrate.

Mixed feelings

The property could use a major update. However my issue was not with the facilities themselves as I understand getting certain conveniences is difficult in that part of the world. The service from the general staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. However management (front desk) was extremely rude, condescending and unprofessional. The staff at the front desk weigh down the rest of the staff especially the kind housekeeping and bell personnel.
