"By far the best thing was the staff. The largely seasonal workers were fantastic - always smiling, attentive and well trained. The resort itself was beautifully maintained and one really didn't to leave the complex as the private beach, pools,bars and restaurants were plentiful. One final thing was the spa massage; best I have had!"

"We had a good one night stay before flying home. We were able to check in before 3pm which was helpful on a hot day. The pool area is modern and spacious with plenty of seating options, albeit with a fairly expensive pool bar for food/ drinks there are 2 or 3 shops in easy walking distance. Hotel is right by the 2a bus which goes to the old town and the plane watching spot down the road. There is a bus stop right outside so do stay on the bus and dont take the advice or google maps and walk up the tricky path a few stops earlier! The room was okay, a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and had a large balcony. There is a fridge but it is very old and was not working well. Shower was excellent and spacious. Breakfast was fine as we have seen throughout the area but did the job. Price a little high for the room overall but able to stay in the hotel or pool area until our flight and store luggage in the hotel which was very helpful! Would stay again if a bit cheaper. Also good views of the airport runway if plane spotting is for you!"

"This hotel was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay before departing to the port the following morning. We arrived around 7pm and the lady checked us in swiftly. The team also helped us to arrange a taxi in the morning which arrived within 2 minutes of calling and was €15 to the port to travel to Albania. A flat 25/30min walk to old town was very easy from here so we could get some food and look around. This was an easy walk from the airport and was good value for money. The only negative was the shower was very small and tricky to use but worked well and was fine for one night!"

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with warm smiles and providing outstanding service throughout our visit. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made the experience memorable. One of the highlights were the private beaches, They were the perfect place to relax, enjoy the stunning views, and unwind. The dining options were equally impressive. The restaurants offered a fantastic variety of delicious food, with high-quality ingredients, excellent presentation, and attentive service. Every meal was a pleasure, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping maintained the highest standards of cleanliness, and the accommodations were well-appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay."

We only stayed 1 night after we landed at the airport last in the evening but the location was very practical with an easy bus ride into old town the next day onto our resort. "We stayed at the Marbella Collection for 6 days with our two young daughters and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt effortless and when you’re travelling with little ones, that means everything. The location is stunning, the beach and pools were the highlight of each day for the girls and felt safe and manageable for families. The food was a real highlight too; great quality and variety throughout, the dining experience genuinely added to the holiday. What really set this apart was how family-friendly it felt without being exclusively a “kids’ hotel.” Our daughters were catered for brilliantly while my husband and I still felt like we were having a proper holiday. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for a family of four, and the staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout. A special mention to two team members who truly stood out. Lydia at reception was warm, kind and genuinely welcoming from the very first interaction and went above and beyond to help make my husband’s birthday special — doing so with such grace it felt truly personal. Aurora was equally brilliant; so patient and kind in answering all my questions about the resort. These two are a real credit to the Marbella Collection. An easy five stars. Highly recommended"
