I never write reviews, but this time I went out of my way to figure out how and tell people Not To Book This Hotel. The website pictures are misleading. The real thing does not look at all like the pictures. The hotel is dark, sad and dated. Stained carpets and foul odour of cat urine around the pool area. If the pix had been truthful I wouldn't have minded a simple hotel, and I've certainly stayed at worse places - knowingly. But this is a bait and switch. The staff was nice but it does not compensate for the awfulness of the facilities.

This property was beautiful, the staff was so kind and accommodating. There’s a free shuttle to the shop/harbour area which makes it very easy to get around. We loved the buffet options, one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The pool area is lovely and surrounded by fruit trees. Gorgeous place!

I wouldn't stay here again
The property is run down. The registration terms and conditions are all about gastric conditions. The cypriot table at the breakfast buffet was covered with flies every day. I asked for extra bedding and Maria complained because it was 8:30pm; I told her I could go to the reception and she was quite irritable; it was annoying to be treated that way. The free bottle of sparkling wine was a nice gesture but the quality made me quite sick. Maybe this + flies-covered table is why they have all the terms about gastric conditions, but I think its actually because the pool seemed under-chlorinated I did not enjoy my stay

Very basic cruise ship crowd class establishment. Location was not great but we managed to cram into the shuttle buses. at the right times. Two twin pushed together to make a queen, airco worked well, make the place confortable. Rooms could use a refresh/update. Shower floor panels was like that of a disposable kids' pool.

We liked the ambience of the hotel - room was good size and clean, dining and bar areas good service and well looked after, quiet room if needed and 3 nice pools. Spa was limited and position of the hotel meant it was a long walk to the harbour or town. Big disappointment was not the hotel but the large amount of road construction around Paphos harbour and sea front.

All in all we had a pleasant stay. The staff are very helpful, the pools areas are nice, and the breakfast was satisfactory. But, it is an apartments hotel with no elevators (some apartments are on 2nd & 3rd floor). Maintenance of the rooms isn't very good (furnitures peeling off - the fake leather getting crumbled , shower door got broken on opening, cracks in the walls..)

Stay made unpleasant by a downgrading “upgrade”
Big hotel situated in a quiet area, 20min walking to the sea front, easy parking. Remarkable array of tasty food items at the buffet breakfast and dinner and excellent service. I would have given them full marks if I wasn’t offered an “upgrade” at the check in. I booked a superior studio, as I did for our previous stay here, 4 years ago. I was impressed I was offered an upgrade, but the feeling changed when we saw the new room. Instead of a spacious Superior Studio I paid for, I was given a small, cramped room. It did not have a wall to separate the bathroom from the bedroom, only a curtain. I pointed this immediately to a grumpy employee at the checkout, and the next day to the nice, smiling lady who offered me the downgrading “upgrade”. Both told me “There is a different design” and did not offer to give me the room I paid for instead of the tiny one they put us in. Why someone would think that is a pleasant experience to hear the other one washing their hands after going to the toilet during the night or having a shower, I really do not understand. The room had a DVD player which was out of order anyway (and who brings DVDs on holidays these days), probably to improve the “different design” and a TV set with about 8 stations in Greek and one or two in the other “local” language – Russian. Why a big hotel cannot afford a satellite dish to offer some channels in English is another question. Anyway, the main problem was the small and badly designed room we were assigned to.

Great Hotel for Tourists
Nice hotel and conveniently located to Kato Pafos and tourist sites (it is not a beach hotel). The service at the front desk was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Food and service in the restaurant and bar were good as well. The room was clean, spacious and nicely laid out. I would come again.

Great end of season break location
Very nice rooms with a good standard of cleanliness. Rooms were well equipped with mini kitchens and tea and coffee making facilities with regular supplies provided. Staff observed a high standard of Covid protocols and tables were sanitised after each change at meal times. Hotel well located with a nice walk to the beach or harbour area and also to the old town area although a shuttle bus service was provided.

The hotel was not as it was advertised, the rooms are in need of renovation, no view in the middle of a housing estate poor cleaning in the rooms, wifi rubbish. However the staff all lovely, the pools whilst absolutely freezing looked great, The food was enjoyable with lots of variety. The hotel areas are lovely, with lots of beds, umbrella and towels. Life guard was brilliant with the children and the outdoor toilets really nice.

Great welcome on arrival with champagne and chocolates. Lovely room with complimentary beach bag and use of silky bathrobes. Huge and comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing hotel
Great hotel, friendly staff, great food, comfortable rooms, everything you could possibly want in a holiday. If you are planning to go to Paphos, king Jason is the hotel to stay at. We loved the choice of picking from the pools.. it gave us options in which one we would like to go in. The harbour was only a few minutes walk but beware the prices at the harbour were a little expensive and we found that the food at the hotel was much better than outside.

Lovely Hotel
From the momement we arrived we were taken care of with a glass of champagne and soft drinks for the children. The room was fine but the view not the best and they sorted this out the next day. We couldn’t fault the facilities or the service of the staff. We were made to feel mist welcome. Although two of the pools were for adults and as my kids were a bit older (teenagers) they felt there should have been more facilities for them. They did have a pool table and table tennis wii h kept them entertained. Although from next season the hotel will be adults only so this is a bit irrelevant. One of the pools was a hydro pool which was great. Each day the waiters would attend whilst we relaxed around the pool bringing drinks and sorting out beds. We stayed bed and breakfast and found the food superior every type of food you could wish for and as much tea/coffee you want. The hotel also has an adequately equipped air conditioned gym which I used frequently as it was too hot to run outside! The hotel was close to the local shopping Mall about 10 mins walk and 15 mins walk to the harbour and plenty of shops places to eat and drink. We found a few really authentic places to eat just behind the harbour.

From the moment me and my friend stepped into the hotel, we knew straight away it was going to be a great experience. Every single staff member, to Andreas, Maria etc - they were absolutely fantastic. It was so personable and couldn't have been more hospitable if asked. We stayed in Block B and it has been newly refurbished - wow. How amazing. The facilities, spa, food was great. Honestly, I have stayed in many places but this has been by far my favourite - I will definitely recommend and visit back soon. :)

Service and food to behold
It is located on a quiet street at about 15 min walk from the seafront. The room was big and clean, with a very good bed but the bathroom was very small and needs redecoration. The tv had a small selection of channels and the wifi was sluggish. The service was very warm and professional and the buffet dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The range was wide and changed every day, all the products were fresh, very tasty and the attention to detail was second to none. Andreas runs the show from the front, with energy, passion and efficiency. I wish I could be so energetic. Thanks to all of you for making our stay so pleasant.

Excellent in every respect
Very comfortable one bedroom suite with kitchenette, though we didn't cook at all. Friendly and highly attentive service at reception, from housekeeping and in the restaurant. The size of the hotel was perfect... Our room was just a few seconds from the poolside and restaurant. We got deckchairs right next to the toddler pool every morning so easy to watch the little one. And in the restaurant as well, no table more than a few paces from the buffet. Excellent food - we stayed half board- with daily changing dinner menu. Expected more local seafood dishes though, being on the Mediterranean. Convenient hourly shuttle bus 5 days a week to the harbour and mall. We were lucky to have sunny cloudless skies all 6 days of our stay, and this top class hotel and staff made it all the more memorable.

Hotel good but not ideal for families.
Hotel was good for couples and older kids (which were the vast majority whilst we were there) but not for our under 10s as swimming pools were limited. Standard suite was great as it had 2 rooms and a kitchen area but the outlook onto a dirty space was not at all pleasant (we were at the back of the hotel) and so we kept our curtain drawn when in the room. Good food with an excellent selection, no kids food obviously available but we were told (belatedly) that we could asked for chips. Overall a good hotel but not suited to our family circumstances.

The Hotel was nice. The welcoming at the reception when arrived first time was nice. We didn’t like the fact that we were put at a ground floor flat. Especially when there are 3 different pools which a lot of rooms are situated around. And our room was looking towards none of them. However, may be they were full. In that case it’s understandable. Apart from this when the cleaning ladies came to swipe around the rooms early in the morning they used to chitchat. Which has woken me up both mornings we stayed there. The last thing I found very unusual is when we went to check out usually the people thank you for your custom and say nice things like: hope to see you again or ask if you enjoyed the place or if everything was ok. Instead, after being asked my room number the only thing they said was it’s done and no one looked into my face in the reception again. And never said anything else. No thank you, nothing. Whether this had to do with us being a gay couple, or he fact that we only stayed 2 days (so we were not so valuable as clients) or whether it had to do with the fact that I’m an Turkish Cypriot staying in the Greek part of Cyprus I.e. my nationality, I don’t know. The room itself, the amenities the food service and remaining all other stuff was fine. We have no complaints.

Lovely hotel and staff are so friendly!
Hotel is lovely, the staff are so friendly, very clean, we had a really relaxing time! Breakfast can not fault it, they have everything and it is cooked really well. Plenty of sun loungers, with comfortable foam bedding and a pillow! A bit of luxury! Pools great, particularly the Indoor heated pool for an evening swim. Hotel room or should I say mini apartment was a real surprise! Plenty of space, bedroom lovely and had a separate living/dining area and kitchenette, great decor, very modern and again very clean. Kitchenette had all the utensils you’d need... including wine bottle opener! I would definitely recommend The King Jason and will be making a return myself soon!

Excellent hotel while staying in Paphos
This hotel was of a high standard with excellent facilities and friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate you. This included helping us jump start our hired car. Rooms were spacious and modern. Food was excellent and plentiful. I would definitely return here next time I visit Paphos.
