"We had a dreamy stay at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch! We really enjoyed slowing down and enjoying each other's company in a beautiful setting. Coming from the hustle and bustle of Oahu, it was exactly what we were looking for. We spent countless hours hanging out by the lodge pool and soaking up the old Hawai'i vibe. "Property is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in one of the ocean view suites. Rooms could use a little updating. Firepit did not work, furniture was old. At one point during our stay, staff set up a huge double white tent in front of our suite for one and a half days, completely blocking our view, as well as compromising our privacy. Apparently there was a wedding event, but the tent could have been set up in a different location. I did call to complain and the manager did remove all of the hotel taxes for the week that we were there."

"Magnificent resort. Family Paradise! Great for everyone. Has all the ammenities you could possibly want or need. Location is Perfect. Pools or Beach, take your pick, and walking distance to Whaler's Village. Plenty of Restaurants and shopping. Beach activities and resort classes. Something for Everyone!"

"Outrigger ruined this property! This used to be my go to resort in Hawaii. They pull scams now. Wanted an additional $3,000.00 claimed it was expedias error. They are under reconstruction and oversold is the real story. The pool is so out of balance it bleached our outfits. The staff seem miserable and unhappy. All the excursions they claim to have they don’t have the staff to support them. The ones they do have are 4 times the price. You can literally book them independently and save a ton of money. This place has gone to Hell. Never again!!!"

"Beautiful resort grounds but definitely feels dated. A lot of renovations happening and some of the property grounds near the beach need maintenance and upkeep. Room was nice, pools were nice and staff was amazing. Resort just needs refreshing, modernization, and at least some type of attempt to make the beach feel exclusive . It felt very public and crowded relative to the last time we stayed here"
