"Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! What a magical experience it was to enjoy the outdoors and soak. And last but not least the breakfast! Felt like my mom made me lunch for the day. "We stayed in a room with a private onsen, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We also got lucky with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from our room! The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and had a charming traditional Japanese feel that we really enjoyed. It had a beautiful old-Japan atmosphere while still being comfortable. One thing to keep in mind is that there are no food options available directly at the property. There are three restaurants, but you need to take the shuttle to get to them, and unfortunately, room service is not available either. So I would recommend planning ahead and bringing some food or snacks with you, especially if you arrive late. Overall, we really enjoyed the private onsen, the spacious room, and the traditional Japanese atmosphere"

"If you want a really roomy experience , stay in the 2-storey maisonette room which is like a big apartment. It’s amazing! Staff spoke a variety of languages which was very helpful. This location is also good for visiting Amagiso outdoor waterfall onsen."

"The view from the hotel is magnificent. The Japanese style rooms are spacious and quiet. I speak survival level Japanese, but there were a lot of communication problems so be ready to have your translator handy. It’s best to have a car to get around the shuttle service was hard to schedule and when returning from the station, they leave exactly at the hour they won’t wait one minute for you during the crowded summer months you cannot get dinner served in your room so you have to eat and the buffet which had good quality for food, but it was still an expensive buffet"
