"This guesthouse is located in Gergeti village, offering a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Check-in was handled by a friendly woman at the house just before the guesthouse. She didn't seem very confident in English, but she was extremely kind and made everything easy. There are only four rooms in total—two on the ground floor and two on the second floor. I highly recommend booking one of the upstairs rooms, as they have a private balcony with a lovely place to relax. The room...

"We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. "
