"Nice hotel, pleasant experience "

"Kona Coast was a Great Resort and perfect location for access to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and very spacious it was exactly what we needed. But, to be honest I was very skeptical because of the reviews about the roaches but Thank God we did not encounter any roaches in our place but I did wake up everyday fearful that I may see one so I wasn’t totally at ease during my stay. We were on the 3rd floor in Section 30 so very close to the restaurant, pool and gym so it was perfect. The food and drinks at the restaurant was delicious and we ate there everyday for breakfast or lunch. Their breakfast sandwiches were a big hit. Im glad we decided to pick this resort despite some of the negative reviews. It was a Grest stay and I highly recommend it if you find the availability. "

"Like: Large/spacious condo. good snorkeling bay nearby, 3 pools, ocean view, covered parking. pickle ball. well kept property and grounds. Most stuff was labeled in condo. Cable and internet TV. Gated community for security. Dislike: have to pay extra for A/C, but good window ventilation, so we didn't quite need it in August except one night. Some tricks w/ TV/remotes, TV didn't work in twin bedroom. Pools had concession/drink stands but those weren't open to get a complete resort feel. Vending machine not working at garden pool. Water fountain not working at garden pool. Pickle ball racquets broken/worn out. Takes a while for hot water in master shower."

"Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful. Although there is no room service, you can easily call/text them with anything you need/request. Beautiful property that overlooks the mountains and golf course. Great bang for your buck. Will stay again."

"This hotel is such a gem. We loved having coffee on the lanai each morning with the ocean crashing on the sea wall below. Just beautiful. It was quiet at night and we were able to walk into town for dinner/shopping. It’s a great base for the west side of the island—we stayed for a week and did so much but always enjoyed returning to the hotel for a dip in the wonderfully refreshing salt water pool or just to relax on the lanai. Highly recommend! "
