Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Staff and view were amazing. Elevator not working was not so great being in the third floor and being 67 years old with arthritis."
"We had an amazing 1 night stay. Arrived past check in time and communicated via phone and email approximate time of arrival. Was not a problem for Cathy. We were greeted by the kindest and friendliest staff. The little cabin was ok for my husband, teen daughter and myself. I would reserve a larger cabin on the water or awesome Domes they have next time. Soon a ship will be avaliable as well,Excellent, clean bathrooms close to our unit. There are more washrooms and showers close by as well. Office/store had camp wood, snacks, supplies and activities if needed."
"Our stay has been great. Nice location to use as a base to explore the area. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The winery tour was very interesting. Very knowledgeable tour guide who happens to be the co-owner!"
House Eagle Cove - Cottage right on the shore of Ponhook Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful place to unwind. The lake was perfect to explore by canoe. So peaceful. It was a bit of a ride to stores and services but that was a plus for me! Missing it already."
"Lieu calme, reposant, parfait pour se relaxer et profiter du bon air de la forêt, sur fond du ruissellement de la rivière.
Chalet fonctionnel et spacieux, parfait pour visiter le parc Kejimkujik à 7 Km de là."
"My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake."
"Visiting family and friends in Nova Scotia, for more than a month and while I truly enjoy their company, I needed a short 'me time'. This was perfect for a 2 day get away and I could have stayed longer, but was expected in the Annapolis Valley. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen; knowing the type of coffee maker ahead of time would have helped me choose my 'grind' better. Cosy living area with a view of the lake. Extremely quiet while I was there. Owners close by to respond to my questions. Would I return: yes!"
