We found Kendenup cottages conveniently located to explore the Stirling ranges, Mount Barker, and Albany. The cottages itself is spacious with a large communal kitchen and lounge areas. Plentiful outdoors to explore with seating areas scattered about the property. Our room was also spacious, had a good view looking west - great for sunsets, and the beds were super comfy. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff, Rhonda, and Di for creating such a beautiful experience.

Hiking trip

The property room was clean. When we arrived the office person was outside, she was friendly. I personally don’t think smoking outside with a beer is professional but all good. We had a room which was clean kettle coffee ect. Shared kitchen and lounge area. Things need bin in toilet. Hairdryer. We went hiking and had showers on return no hairdryer to dry hair. We left early evening as really needed a hairdryer and went elsewhere I thought I had booked a cottage so do be care when booking that you have what you want. They have a restaurant which we didn’t use

Would happily stay again. Room was excellent and very clean. There is a separate shared kitchen area for cooking, etc, but we also enjoyed a delicious meal in the onsite restaurant. Location is central for trips to Stirling Ranges, Bluff Knoll and Albany, plus only a few kms from Mt Barker.

What a lovely lodge, location, host, restaurant. It was peaceful, friendly, clean and our dinner was superb. Thank you very much to the hosts and kitchen staff. Will definitely recommend 😊

Sheets and towels were stained. Oven had no knob, given a knife to turn to temp, gas oven blew up on my husbands face and the handy mans..... generator kept us awake all night as it was constantly going off!

Highly Recommend!

We lucked out and arrived right at the end of school holidays, all the families had just checked out. Seamless checking in and out without seeing any staff. Great location to explore the Stirling Ranges, great cooking facilities, had fun feeding the goats.

Lovely country setting. Room was very clean and fresh. Handy communal kitchen area where you can make your own meals. Enjoyed a relaxing drink by the wood fire. Great restaurant with huge meals. Great friendly atmosphere. Loved all the local artwork on display.

The room was spotless, Hospital corners on the beds the best I've seen. We were entertained by the owners and made to feel really welcome. We'll definitely be going back again.

Very peaceful. House was clean and comfortable with very comfortable beds and furniture set in lovely surroundings. Hosts were great and welcoming. Youngest son loved feeding and petting the animals. The view of the Sterling Ranges was beyond compare. Will definitely go back in the next change of season.
