Hotel Riu Palace Swahili – All Inclusive – Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel. Had all The amenities from an all inclusive . The room was great. All amenities are incredible , the pool and the buffet were great. I preferred the buffet over the signature restaurants. The beach access was great and the beach in front of the hotel is amazing,."

Hotel Riu Palace Zanzibar - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely first class holiday and resort. Food was exceptionally good, both in the a La Carte restaurants and the buffet, grounds were immaculate, staff were friendly and warm. The pool areas and raised beach were fabulous. If you had a question or needed help with something, dial 9 and reception staff sorted it without ever needing to leave your room. Without doubt one of our best holidays ever and we will be going back next year without a doubt. The only note of caution would relate to disabled or elderly clients, the resort is well advertised as large and sprawling and dotted around a hillside, so walking about for some might be difficult. We loved with Island and would rate this holiday overall as a 10/10!"

Sunset Kendwa

10/10 Excellent

"Location on Kendwa beach was the best! Beautiful swimming, restaurant with beach view and stunning sunsets right from your beach chair. You can walk to other restaurants and the beach was safe for walking. Patrols also ensured beach merchants did not get too close. Wifi was spotty at times. Room was comfortable, though sometimes AC would go out due to spotty electricity issues which is all over zanzibar so not the property. A wonderful and easy stay after safari!"

Sunshine Marine Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"The eco-friendly resort is a little gem. The cuisine is varied and excellent—even by Italian standards—with an outstanding breakfast offering both sweet and savory options. The air-conditioned bungalows, equipped with mosquito nets, were serviced multiple times a day, including the spraying of mosquito repellent.Efficient and very friendly staff.Top-notch security. A quiet, secluded location. The resort is connected to two other properties under the same ownership, featuring long beaches to explore and two additional restaurants.Highly recommended"

Canary Kendwa Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"My stay at Canary Kendwa Beach Resort was one of the most beautiful vacations I’ve ever had. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The resort is perfectly located on the stunning Kendwa Beach, with crystal-clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and breathtaking sunsets every evening. Swimming in the warm ocean was an unforgettable experience. Our room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The bathroom was modern, and housekeeping kept everything perfectly clean throughout our stay. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. No request was too much, and they made us feel welcome every day. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the beachfront bar served amazing cocktails at great prices. Enjoying drinks while watching the sunset was one of our favorite moments. We also loved the daily activities and evening entertainment. Playing table tennis and watching the international shows made every night fun and memorable. The reception team was always available and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Canary Kendwa Beach Resort offers the perfect combination of relaxation, beautiful scenery, excellent service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We created unforgettable memories here and can’t wait to return. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Zanzibar—it truly deserves 5 stars!"
