Welcome to the Minnewaska Mountain House! We've been a vacation rental for 4 years with 100 five-star reviews.

The property is a 2.7k sq ft getaway to hike, unwind, and disconnect. Named for its proximity to Minnewaska State Park, the house is a 3-min drive to the most popular trailheads, rock climbing, swimming & breathtaking scenic overlooks.

The space
☼Pet Policy☼

- Max 2 dogs - (no cats/other pets)
- Please message for prior approval
- $100 fee per dog for weekend stays and $150 fee per dog/per week for longer stays
- Dogs are not allowed in bedrooms or in the basement (carpeted spaces)
- Dogs are not allowed on furniture (upholstery)

☼BEDROOMS & BATH☼

- Primary Suite: Features king bed, dedicated work space, and ensuite bathroom. Bathroom has a double vanity, stand up shower, and jacuzzi tub.

- Sunrise Room: Features queen bed, dedicated work space and bench for stowing belongings.

- Blue Room: Features queen size bed

- Twin Room: Features two twin beds

- Pack n Play: (no sheets provided)

*All bedrooms have large closets equipped with custom shelving systems, luggage racks, hair dryers, extra bedding, full length mirror and hangers.

*All beds are Euro Top hybrid mattresses and feature 100% cotton bedding, down alternative duvets that are so soft you won’t believe they aren’t down, and 3 different types of pillows.

*The three bedrooms that aren’t the primary suite share a full bathroom.

*Half bathroom located on main floor.

Kitchen:
- All major appliances- electric range, oven (with built in air fryer!), microwave, dishwasher, & refrigerator

- Nespresso machine with pods

-Cocktail shaker and glasses for every adult beverage you could possibly want.

-Grill is hardwired to the gas line
-Grilling tools, skewers, etc are provided.

- Dining room table seats 8 or more.
- Deck table seats 8

Minnewaska Mountain House features not one, not two, but THREE living spaces.

Great room:

- Enjoy one of the records from our curated record collection, or hook your phone up with bluetooth and play your favorite playlist

- Huge sectional perfect for snuggling up with a warm blanket and watching TV
- TV has Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ subscriptions.

☼HOME GYM☼

Do you hate that Airbnbs usually mean no gym? We’ve got you covered. The basement gym features:
- Dumbbells and kettlebells up to 50lbs
- Resistance bands
- Ab wheel
- Foam roller
- Stability ball
- Yoga mats, yoga blocks & more!

If the weather is nice, get up early and take a yoga mat to the front porch. Doing your sun salutations as the sun rises over the mountains is truly magical.

☼OUTDOORS☼

The Minnewaska Mountain House sits on 3 acres of land. Feel free to explore the property but please mind the neighbors property around you.

Front porch features rocking chairs and amazing direct sunlight all day. Perch with a cup of coffee to start your day or unwind with a glass of wine at dusk. The views of the mountains from the front are gorgeous all year round.

Back deck features a gas grill & seating for 8.

Enjoy a cozy fire in the backyard around our new fire pit and 8 Adirondack chairs.

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property during their stay with the exception of seasonal snow removal/landscaping and cleaners removing trash once a week.

Guests are given a unique code for the smart lock for the duration of their stay.

Home features motion sensored lights for when you arrive after dark.

Please note, we are on a private road and both the road and driveway are gravel. If you visit in the winter, it’s recommended to only visit with an AWD/4WD drive vehicle.

Other things to note
Please note the wood burning fireplace in the great room is unfortunately out of service. You’re welcome to use the electric fireplace in the basement.

Parking is available on-site for 4 vehicles.

Super fast 1000 Mbps Wifi internet. The house has limited cell service so you must enable wifi calling.

This house is truly country living. Despite our BEST efforts to keep the house bug free, bugs do occasionally make it inside. There are often deer and occasionally bears on the property so be mindful of wildlife. There is also a generator that backs up all major systems in case of a power outage.

Fun fact: the house is located minutes the famous waterfall on the hit show "Severance" on Apple TV
