What an amazing experience. Even though I planned this trip last minute, our hosts Zachary and Anna were so gracious to us and accommodated our needs with my 2&4 year old littles. The homemade breakfast in the morning was delightful and we felt so comfortable and at home on their beautiful grounds. We will definitely be going back for another stay soon!
Wow, what can I say? This is easily the greatest experience my wife and I ever had with a bed and breakfast. Anna and Zach are the most gracious, kind and accommodating hosts. They even offer a gourmet 3 course meal that blew us away. The room we stayed in was beautiful and the view was great. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for that perfect get away
Our stay started well but ended with unnecessary stress and inhumane accusations. I mistakenly booked two nights instead of three and, on the day of checkout, took my kids to Garner State Park, leaving my 75-year-old mother at the cabin due to the cold. With no cell service, I missed the host’s calls to vacate. On our way back, I received a call from the sheriff’s office asking me to contact my mother immediately. Initially, I thought she had panicked, but it turned out the host had reported me, suspecting I abandoned her. They even messaged me saying, “I don’t know your Our stay started well but ended with unnecessary stress and inhumane accusations. The host charged an additional $50 along with a $60 “extra guest fee” for letting my mother stay indoors to avoid freezing outside. This experience was inhumane and deeply upsetting.
Enjoyed our stay, very cozy on a cold night. Homemade cake waiting for us and amazing breakfast in the morning. Will be back when we can spend more time enjoying the fire pit.
My husband & I decided to do a little one day get away and found the cabins on Vrbo. We booked it, and a couple of minutes later, Anna messaged me and apologized because it had been booked a couple of minutes before I did. So she asked if they could bump us up to a bigger cabin (Valley View) at no cost! When we got there Anna had left a couple of slices of cake as a welcome gesture. Delicious by the way! Right from the start, she was very nice and friendly. Made us feel so welcomed. Our cabin was so nice and cozy. More than we had expected. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and we met Zach, Anna's husband. Again, they are lovely people. We had everything we needed for our getaway, and the view and location are beautiful. We are already planning our next trip, and will be looking forward to staying at Zannabella B&B again for sure!
Our hosts were gracious and the property was just what our family needed. We did opt to have the delivered dinner and were very glad we did because the meal was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was the same with very good food and lots of it. Our only complaint was that the two bench sleeping areas were not fine for sitting and eating, but sleeping was quite uncomfortable. The bed itself was great. Would recommend!
Quick and easy check in. Room was nice and cool on arrival. Bathroom situation works. The whole space felt plenty private. Went to town for dinner and had some good options only 5-10 min away. Breakfast was good as well.
Hosts Anna and Zach were great. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed, and had an awesome view. Short drive to town, and the stars at night were amazing. We have stayed at many places and this place has been the best.
We had a great long weekend at this property. We were greeted with little cupcake treats when we arrived. The hot breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful. We also had a dinner one night that was also exceptional. The hosts/owners were very responsive to any requests. The little cabin was clean and very comfortable. The compost commode was a concern before we went, but actually was fine. We would definitely would come back again!! Thank you Anna and Zach for a wonderful weekend!!
We will never forget our stay at Zannabella. The cabin was above and beyond our expectations and the hosts Zach and Anna were extremely welcoming. Anna’s cooking is a solid 5 stars and will quite easily put a smile on your face!
The hosts are the kindest, most hospitable people. Our cabin was the most quaint, cozy little place, just like I wanted. It is only a few minutes away from the 1011 Bistro, where you can have a delicious romantic dinner. And the next morning, a hot breakfast was brought to our door, and I enjoyed cream cheese stuffed French toast with fresh berry compote, sausage, eggs and fresh grapefruit juice on the porch, overlooking the beautiful little mountains of Kerville. It was the perfect getaway weekend from a hectic life.
Fabulous just fabulous. Only suggestion please get solar to light up the pathway to restroom. My vision is super bad and almost fell more than a few times.
Didn’t know what glamping meant. Property was nice. Proprietors were wonderful. Honestly having the bathroom out the back door was unexpected, but otherwise it was very well appointed for “glamping.”
We really enjoyed our stay! We walked in to fresh baked chocolate chip cream pies ! It’s just a short drive to Fredericksburg so we went for a few hours. Then, we came back and sat by the fire to end the night ! Morning came, and they brought us an amazing breakfast to our door ! Thank you! We’ll b back soon!!
The property was very nice with everything you possibly need. All of our needs were met and our space was much larger than expected. It was a cold night when we arrived and the cabin was warm and toasty. We would definitely recommend the property and plan to visit again.
The description does not do this place justice. The cabin is everything I would want in one for myself. The view pulling up was stunning. The hosts were the sweetest people I have ever met and felt at peace as soon as I was there. The decor was like it was made for me. Something special about it. Too hard to put into words. Will go back again.
