"Everything was fantastic except for the lack on internet and cell phone signal. No phone, no internet and no TV. They try and have nice looking flat screens, but the property is large and the WiFi does not reach most cabins despite the signal boosters in every cabin. The WiFi signal is strong enough near the office/store that you can stream TV, clear phone calls, etc. Everything was great except the electronic isolation. I’d stay there again, but I’d have more stuff recorded/downloaded to watch. Beautiful location."

"Overall, it looks like it was just redone and looks fairly nice. However, the room we got was terrible. We booked a two room suite and when we got there, it smelled horrible like death and mold. The clerk told us the person that had the room last spent five days there and did not ask for housekeeping so she did not know what they did in there. Apparently they only have two of these rooms so they did not have another one to accommodate us. It was like pulling teeth trying to get our refund because we went to another hotel. The clerk said to call Expedia and she would approve it, but she did not put any notes in or have the authority to do so and it was days later that I finally got them to approve the refund."

"Check in was very straightforward. The room was on the second floor, facing the parking lot. This is a motel style property with all rooms opening to the outside. The room was well decorated but some of the furnishing had some wear and tear and one of the lightbulbs was on its last legs. Overall the room was fairly dark and could have used a main light. Cleanliness was acceptable but there was a lot of dust on the floor behind the sliding door. The beds were comfortable and we slept well, without noise from other rooms or the surroundings. The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Coffee is available fresh 24/7 and the breakfast was good. Other amenities include guest laundry (which we did not use), a heated pool, and fires/fire pits. The location of the motel is good but the walk to the main street is longer than it first appears, so be prepared to get some steps in. Would not hesitate to stay here again next time we are in town."
