Seaside Garden House Located Near The Marina.

A lovely seaside cottage with a beautiful garden that overlooks a small boat harbor.
The cottage is cozy and quaint with all of the modern amenities. This cottage has two levels and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. You can drive right up to the front door of the main level. On the main level of the cottage there is the kitchen, living room, a small bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed. On the lower level of the house there are two more bedrooms. One with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There is also a family room with a fold out futon sofa and a bathroom with a tub and shower as well as a washer and dryer. There are decks on both the upper and lower levels. The upper deck has a gas barbeque. The lower deck leads out to the seaside garden.

This is a totally non-smoking property. No smoking in, or around the property.

IMPORTANT! Please let us know if you prefer to have the 2 twin beds or the option of a king bed in the third bedroom. We would also like to know ahead of arrival if you would like the sofa bed made up. We charge depending on group size. There are charges for additional people over 4 people. Make sure we know how many people in your group.

Dreamy seaside garden house.

Our visit to Ketchikan was everything my family had hoped for and more, and this home was a major part of that. Bob, the owner, greeted us warmly and showed us around the well-maintained residence. The views are stunning and the manicured garden was a delight. The interior is inviting, clean and unpretentious, with everything we could possibly need to feel at home at hand. We roasted marshmallows at the seaside fire pit and stayed cozy and comfortable throughout our stay weeklong stay. We look forward to returning to this property and hope it’s in the near future.

Perfect location for an Alaskan vacation! Seaside Garden House exceeded our expectations in every way...It is better than shown in photos and very spacious for our family of 5 adults. Our hosts were wonderful and had thought of everything we might need. Beautiful location on the waterfront, with easy access to town. We have stayed at many vrbo rentals and this is one of our favorites!

We had a wonderful vacation in Ketchikan. I recommend this home as it had everything we needed and more. It was clean and very relaxing! The view is beautiful! The host was always available and very helpful.

NICE VIEW

The view at this property is amazing! We spent all the evenings in the living/dining area just looking at the Harbor Seal's and different boats passing by. The neighbor even shared a salmon with us, which I cooked that night. Such a peaceful place. I highly recommend this property!

Didn't want to leave

The property is so beautiful. Emily has created such an amazing garden and Bob made the check-in and check-out process so easy. He also gave great suggestions for places to go. The location is so perfect for so many trails/lakes and places to visit including Creek Street and shops. Bob, we went to Ocean View Restaurant as our last stop before the airport and the food and service was great. Thank you so much for making our vacation so special. Sincerely, Michelle and Family

Alaskan Getaway 2022

Such a wonderful property. Very nice home, well appointed, and a beautiful back yard. The gardens were beautiful. We used the fire pit EVERY.SIGLE.NIGHT!! It was stocked with plenty of seasoned wood…just fantastic! We also used the sea-kayaks every day; a very nice & unexpected perk of this property!! Plenty of board games in the house; we even bought dominoes to play Mexican Train and left them there for future families to enjoy. Much closer to town than it appears on a map. We would absolutely stay there again!!

Beautiful week

We were greeted by Bob at our arrival and he showed us around the home and garden. The house had everything we could possibly need for the stay. The kitchen was full of cooking items to prepare a big meal. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Great week and hope to return.

Perfect place to feel at home in Alaska

We loved our stay! The communication with property manager and owner was above and beyond. The house had beautiful views morning to night and was so close to the marina so was easy with fishing and transportation. Every day we stayed there was a joy. We will be back!

Best and most well-equipped rental in Ketchikan

We stayed for a month (4 adults) and it was just perfect. We like to cook, and this was the first rental I've ever been in where the kitchen was properly stocked with pots, pans, utensils, glasses, nice dishes, you name it! The beds are comfy, the view is lovely, the garden so relaxing, the firepit and grill were great, and the hosts are super thoughtful. They've paid attention to all the details and really go out of their way to make it home-like, well supplied and cozy. Plus, the location outside of town is relaxing (and you can kayak!) -- we liked it much better than being in town, though town is a quick drive away. Highly recommended.

Sea Side Stay

This is our second stay at Sea Side. As you arrived the first thing my wife said was it is so nice to be home. the place is spotless and clean and the bed are very comfortable which is a plus for me because of my wore out back. We love the location no neighbors to listen to. Total peace and quiet. No cruise ships parked out your front window or air planes flying through your front room, like we experienced staying in town We will be back again next year.
