"All staff we encountered at the front desk where very helpful. The replies to emails were answered immediately. Amenities were excellent, beyond expectation. We were driven to the airport using the personal car of the lady staff when the shuttle wasnt available.
Beds were great and comfortable.
The only things that could improve is to name a landmark (bootleggers cafe) to find the office easily. And also can there be a way to remove the musty smell of the room? Might be coming from the carpets."
The Bear Den. Water view, eagle view, deer and black bear, cover deck and BBQ.
10/10 Excellent
"This was a perfect cozy, bear den tucked away amongst the trees with views of the ocean, mountains, and bald eagles. The property was impeccably clean, had everything you needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The master bed was super super soft. My daughter called it the whip cream bed because of how soft it was and the fluffy comforter that was on it. It was wonderful to have a fridge and freezer, stove, oven, and microwave. There was also a coffee maker, but we did not use it. The bedroom had a dresser and closet for your belongings and suitcases. The picture window offered a magnificent view of the bald eagles, mountains, and ocean. We were visiting my son who was working at Cedars Lodge. The property is close enough to Elliott Street stairs. So we took those a few times to get to Cedars Lodge. The property owners were very kind and fun to talk to. They invited us to join in their Independence Day festivities. We had plans to join the Cedars Lodge staff, but it was such a kind offer. I would love to stay here again."
Private house connected to Potlatch Totem Park extreme ocean view. Premium Host
8/10 Good
"We really enjoyed our stay and the view was fantastic. However, you might as well cancel the WiFi, remove the TV, remove the DVD player and put in a fire place. They don’t work. The oven doesn’t work either so plan on eating out, there are a couple of pot pies and a frozen pizza still in the freezer left by me, so if Tedi gets the oven going have at it."
"Just stayed for a couple of nights for a business trip and price was reasonable and accommodations were much better than staying in a hotel. Would definitely stay here again!"
"The moment we called for a shuttle ride, we were treated as royalty. The shuttle arrived when and where we were told, and the driver was very attentive and professional. We went straight to the check-in desk, and they had our rooms ready and waiting. Check-in was very smooth and without issues. We went to our room and found it larger than we anticipated, and it looked and smelled fresh. We were able to connect to the property's Wi-Fi with no issues. We had both dinner and breakfast on the property, and the staff was very nice and professional. The food was great. They were understaffed, or the staff was just slow, because it did take a while for them to greet and seat us. They were always friendly, always smiling, and were very professional,
Overall, I would rate them a 5 out of 5 and would definitely return and recommend others to stay there."
