"Breakfast! What breakfast? They want $32 Canadian for a continental breakfast! That’s ridiculous. There was not even complimentary coffee or a coffee machine in the room. The pettiness of danish hotels really is something out of this world. The room served its purpose which was to sleep but for $350 you’d expect at least a cup of coffee in the morning."

"We really enjoyed staying at Køge Bed & Kitchen. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. A very nice and comfortable place that made you feel relaxed and at home. Very large kitchen, clean quiet room, beautiful terrace and view. Also access to back yard and excellent location. "

"Easy & inexpensive way to stay in the area: room was small but sufficient (although it was hot and the AC appeared not to work), and the common spaces fantastic (a great kitchen that is well organized and easily accommodates many users, a big dining/common room with tables, outlets, etc., where I got good work done). The town itself is quiet but very pretty, and it was a great place to recover from jetlag before I moved to the center of Copenhagen for more active travels."

"Great overall experience. Location was nice, central to Copenhagen and many southern vacation activities to do and see. We stayed 2 days there so as not to pay the higher prices in the big city and it was an easy liesurely drive to the airport the next day. However, the flight was an international flight at 1500 the next day so you might want something closer for earlier flights. We got spoiled in Sweden having stayed where the breakfast is free. The breakfast offered was modest, comparatively to most and cost money. The convenient thing was that a Netto was right across the street so we grabbed goodies before we jaunted off on local adventures. I recommend a stay here because they also provided bikes to use to see the local scenery."

"It was a great place in many ways, including location and cleanliness of the place. The snack bar was nice. However my room was very musty smelling, and I had to leave the windows open the entire time (thankfully weather was beautiful most days). Also no one responded to my messages through Expedia, and parking information outside of the hotel spots was nil. I had to ask several local folks for help, including needing to download the easy park app. This info could have been shared/ provided. The wifi did not work, and again, I had sent a message about this, but no one replied."

"The property is spacious, well maintained, and light. It is well-situated near the beach, and the host was friendly and helpful (living with his family in the adjoining house.) We enjoyed our stay there. Some minor negatives: 1. The self-catering facilities were minimal with only a microwave to prepare food and a minimum of utensils, all in a "kitchenette" the size of a wardrobe. 2. The TV could only be used if you already had your own subscription to Netflix or similar providers. 3, The "patio" was really part of the car port- not a place to sit and admire the view. 4. We had no car and regretted not hiring bicycles to get around more easily as it was a 20 minute walk to the shops and railway station. In all other respects the apartment was excellent."
