Fantastic property/location for family of 4
My family had a wonderful time at this property. Proximity to the beach is awesome—and the beach was perfect for my 9yo and 13yo. Cooked several meals in the kitchen, which is small but functional. We hope to come back!

Relaxing oceanside
The drive to the island is great, oaks and moss make an amazing canopy for miles. The view from the condo is amazing, ocean as far as you can see. The pictures don't do it justice, the ocean is much closer than it appears. The outdoor furniture is comfortable and you can sit on it for hours and just watch the waves. The waves crashing into the beach lull you to sleep at night. We saw several deer running around in the brush while we enjoyed the porch. The condo was clean and has all the amenities you need to to cook if you wanted to cook. The owner was responsive to any questions that I had. Freshfields village is a short drive away and has various cuisines of restuaraunts and a nice grocery store. Charleston is a 40 minute drive away if you want to go for a visit. It was great to get away and relax.

Great location and amazing ocean views. Clean and well stocked with all you need to have a great vacation in Kiawah. Construction was not an issue over the weekend. Accurate description. Look to return again next year.

Lovely view! Close to the beach, Sanctuary Hotel, and Fresh Fields. Everything was explained thoroughly. Kitchen was equipped with all the basics. Bed was super comfortable. Communication with property was fast and polite. What else can you ask for?

Nightmare construction
Caroline sent an email 4 hours before check-in advising construction was taking place at the condo. She said it would be a "minimal intrusion". Upon pulling into the parking lot our hearts sank. 3 sides of the building were covered in ground-to-roof scaffolding, plastic sheeting, and a long makeshift plywood hallway greeted us at the entrance. Disappointment turned to dismay as we saw scaffolding and hanging plastic encroaching upon the master balcony. Below the unit was the crew's working area consisting of industrial-sized garbage bins, multiple sawhorses, supplies, and debris. We messaged Caroline with our concerns about the construction directly next door. She advised the ‘intrusion should be minimal” and apologized for the “inconvenience” stating the work started earlier than expected. It doesn’t take an expert to see the work had to be going on for a minimum of weeks. The "inconvenience” consisted of LOUD drilling and banging echoing in the condo. Friday we were awoken at 7:20 to crews working directly next door, hammering, banging, and tossing boards from the balcony. The noise was intolerable, and we were heartbroken. It took 5 attempts BEGGING Caroline for FAIR discount from the rate we paid. We sent videos to support our case and after two insulting offers off of the total, we received a partial refund. The situation was unfortunate but why the guests had to fight so hard to not get the raw end of the deal is baffling. A Relaxing vacation was stolen from us.

This was a very unfortunate situation that arose, and I hope that my past reviews of communication and offering of a clean, comfortable villa with beautiful ocean views does not deter anyone from a future visit. I was very responsive to this guest and apologized profusely for the construction. I am unable to control construction timelines and progress on other units. I can only control what happens to this one. Our views were not obstructed and we offered this guest a clean, fully stocked, comfortable villa. We can all agree the noise during business hours on Friday of this guests stay was not ideal. Originally we offered the construction rate and sent a discounted amount within 24 hours of the guests arrival. The guest was not satisfied, so I was then authorized by the owner to refund 50% of this guests payment. Again, very unfortunate and nothing I could do to change the situation other than compensate for the day of noise and offer my sincere apologies. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. My main goal is to always provide communication, professionalism, and hospitality to all of our guests for a memorable Kiawah vacation.

Amazing space
This condo was perfect for what we were looking for. Easy to get to, perfect amount of space and beautiful views. The condo had some beach gear that we were able to use, you could also very easily rent chairs and an umbrella at the beach. The Harris Teeter grocery store was on the way to the beach and had everything we wanted for our stay. We loved walking in and seeing the great views- we had a blast. (Family included two parents and three teens)

Great location & views!!
This is a 2nd stay for us at this property. Beach views are awesome! Location is one of the closest to the Fresh Fields shopping center - so just an easy bike ride to get to the town center. Easy beach private access w/ little/no crowds. Would definitely stay again!!

Our stay was amazing. The property was clean and offered everything we needed. The view from all 3 balconies was amazing. The beach was easy to access. The location was great as it was easy to locate and travel to wherever we needed to get to, whether it was quick trip to shops/grocery or a day trip into Charleston. Recommend this property for anyone as it can serve as a romantic/relaxing trip for 2 or a family fun getaway.

Kiawah Miles of Ocean Views
This place is remarkable!!. The best place we stayed at in Kiawah by far. The miles of ocean views are incredible. As well constant sound of waves crashing on the beach. The condo is very cozy and perfect for your Kiawah stay. Very quiet and respectful neighbors. The walk to the beach is very quick. So if you forget something at the beach you can relax cause it is steps away. Tbe walk is private for guests only is a nice touch.

Owner was very responsive to a couple of small issues (smoke alarm beeping, short internet outage). It was our first visit to Kiawah but not our last for sure!

Thank you for the review!! I'm sorry the security gate was a confusing process. Thankfully we cleared that confusion up quickly with a phone call. :) To clarify -there are several rental companies on the Island where you will check in at a physical location and they give you the car pass so I believe that is why the guard was confused. We try to make it simple for our guests with a no contact check in process and car passes are called in at the gate.

Excellent villa with beautiful ocean views!
We are From Minneapolis and this was a great escape from the snow. The villa is on the top floor and we went the first week of March prior to the busy season. It was quiet and peaceful. The beds and pillows Were comfortable for us. The place is very clean. While the villa is 30 miles From the airport and approx the same to Charleston it does take longer to get there. Plan on 45+ minute and if you are Going to Mt Pleasant plan on an hour drive. I would compare This to going to a Cabin up north where we Live if you want to get away from City noise and a Starbucks in every corner this is the place! There is not a pool here so keep that in mind. There is not access to the Kiawah resort pool and a couple of their pools were Not yet open for the season. We went across the street to the Convention center and to the left by the pool we were able to rent bikes. Very convenient. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay on Kiawah in this ocean front villa. Unit was clean, had plenty of starter supplies, very convenient location for us and the view was amazing from every room! Unit was very comfortable, tranquil setting with easy beach access (did I mention the amazing view!) and property contact was immediately attentive for our 2 minor calls. You do need to be prepared to make several trips to load/unload your belongings, but you can't go wrong staying here and hated to leave.

I would absolutely recommend this listing to anyone. The view of the ocean was excellent and the balconies to see it from were very much appreciated. As landlocked people who wish we could live by the water it didn’t matter what the weather was because all we had to do was look outside to see the changes of the water and sky. Easy drive to Charleston. This was a wonderful place to stay and will stay again and again if it is in the stars to return.
