Nice property
This was a very nice property. Layout of the house was really nice and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked- nice dishes, glasses, appliances. Umbrellas , beach chairs, toys, towels provided which was so nice. Property manager was great and very attentive. I would recommend this property.

Great time!

Lots of room and very clean
Loved the fact that it was so spacious and that it had a private master suite on the top floor with a large balcony with rocking chairs. Bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. Kitchen had all the conveniences of home. While we did not use the beach towels provided, it was a nice touch for them to be available, along with all the items needed if you bring your dogs. Please keep your dogs on a leash when outside because there are alligators in the pond. Karen was a pleasure in which to work, very good communication. One important note, at least for me, never saw one palmetto bug inside the house, you know those big cockroaches. That is almost unheard of at the beach. I was impressed. Don't really know how that's even possible, but it's true.

Summer vacation
We have stayed in this Kiawah home for our family vacation for several years now. It is in a lovely location, has a lot of space, and is furnished with everything you need. Karen, the property manager, does an excellent job of communicating and ensuring you have all that you need.

One of Many Kiawah Stays
We have stayed on Kiawah many times over the past 30 years. With grown children, a toddler, and a pet we had specific requirements for a Kiawah rental. This particular rental has everything for all your needs. It is one of the most well stocked rentals we have ever vacationed. 5 stars for cleanliness and organization (cabinets and garage). Everything is labelled and there is a 3 ring binder with any information you might need. It was the perfect rental for us.

Wonderful property that was very dog friendly (even had supplies in case you forget!). Large space and kitchen is great for families and there is even a Bald Eagle nest behind the house. The property manager was very helpful and attentive.

Family Vacation w/ Dog
Family vacation with dog, infant and mother in law. We packed clothes and stroller, everything else we needed was already at the house. This made our packing and traveling super easy. Especially since traveling with an infant can get cluttered and bulky. Stress free overall process and property manager made check in super easy and descriptive. She was also super easy to contact with questions before and after the stay. Highly recommend!!!

Great time
My family enjoyed our time very much here. Karen, the property manager, was very quick and helpful with all the questions that we had. Very clean place with plenty of room for all of us and stocked up the wazoo with everything you’d need for a vacation (beach stuff, kitchen utensils and supplies, etc) It was a short car ride to the beach where we never had issues find parking every morning when we went. If we visit Kiawah again, we’d definitely stay here again!

Vacation 2022/4th July
I highly recommend this property if you are considering Kiawah Island. We traveled with seven adults and two dogs. The home is beautiful and in a good location. The layout of the home provides spaces for gathering as well as privacy. It was very well-equipped for cooking, dining and grilling. Paper products and cleaning supplies were plentiful. The home supplies all the beach gear that you will need for a day on the beach and a place to wash your gear and let it dry. The location of the home is near Heron Park, which has good parking and beach access. Karen was a wonderful hostess, answering questions quickly and offering suggestions when asked. I would love to stay here again.

Great Kiawah House
We had a wonderful vacation and got to see two sets of grandkids. Accommodations were perfect and everything was in biking distance. Highly recommended.

Better than Pictured!
The property location was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back patio listening to the wildlife and watching the alligators. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked which is always appreciated!! Soft towels were plentiful. The beach equipment provided was fabulous!! This property was ideal for our group of 6 adults and 1 toddler. The privacy of the master bedroom is nice . Karen was great to work with. We will absolutely consider this property again when in the Kiawah Island area.

AMAZING!!!! 10+ for this property!!! Wonderful house with all the extras; simple easy process from start to finish! The house is perfect for 6 or more adults everything you need and then some well appointed kitchen everything is nicely organized and labeled.

The perfect place...
We loved this property! It had all of the things needed for a perfect rental... Beach items.. including a wagon, baby items... including a nice high chair, kitchen was stocked, everything was organized labeled and easy to find and return to it's proper place! The beds were amazingly comfortable and the place was CLEAN! Karen was easy to get a hold of and prompt to answer any inquiries! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

302 Salt Meadow delivers!
This was our 14th trip to Kiawah. In a number of respects this was one of the very best properties we have stayed in. The layout is pretty much ideal, the back deck with an active alligator population is thrilling, the kitchen and bathrooms are the best equipped we have ever seen. And even the TV options are way above average. No complaints of any kind.

Great getaway

Best Vacation Rental on Kiawah!
We have stayed in Kiawah several times and this was by far the best property. It is located on a quiet cul de sac with just a short walk to the beach. Communication with the host, Karen was excellent. She always responded right away with any questions. We appreciated bringing our doodles as the home is pet friendly. They have beach chairs and towels in the garage and the kitchen is very well stocked with all that one would need. The house was very clean upon arrival. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Great Home in a Great Location
This home is located very close to the wonderful 30 mile bike path and is about one mile from the beach! The walk to the beach is very pretty down paths and close to lagoons! The home is surrounded by lush vegetation near a lagoon! The property manager was very attentive and easy to communicate with! The home was large and spacious and the kitchen was extremely well stocked! We cannot wait to return!

Loved our stay.
The best review I can give is that after 2 days of renting, my wife said we should rent here again. The property is dog friendly which was a big plus for us. The owner's had dog proofed the rental, which made the stay stress-free. The rental was very clean, organized and well equipped. We enjoyed the layout. Karen, who was our point of contact, did an excellent job of keeping us informed prior to our rental as well as checking in that everything was okay during our stay. You cannot go wrong with this property. We even recommeded it already to someone we know who is going to Kiawah.

End of summer travel
If your looking for a quite beach vacation this is the perfect place. The house had all of the amenities you needed. I especially liked all of beach stuff (chairs umbrella's etc) that were accessible to us. All around great stay. Owner is very responsive and accommodating. Recommend renting this place.

Fun at Saltmeadow Cove
Have stayed at many Kiawah properties over the years; would come here again because of the nice feel of the place; high ceilings, nice flow of space, well stocked kitchen and each supplies as well as super comfortable beds with high threadcount sheets with duvets, just like home! Not to mention the prompt responsiveness of Karen!

Great Beach Weekend
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home at Kiawah. The house layout was perfect for our family, the kitchen was extremely well stocked and all the linens were great quality. We enjoyed the location and how easy it was to walk or bike to the beach, a park or Freshfields Village. And then we equally enjoyed returning to the house to grill out and rest in the very comfortable beds. The owner was very kind and responsive throughout the renting process. We would definitely recommend this home.

Great location and awesome house!
My husband and I went on an adults getaway weekend with another couple and we had an amazing time staying at this house! The location on the island is ideal to get to all of the different restaurants and golf courses, while being close to the beach! We loved riding our bikes around and exploring the island. The back porch was one of our favorite spots for coffee in the morning and a cocktail before dinner. Everything was clean and check out was very easy. We loved being able to use the beach gear too!! We will definitely be back!

Great family retreat in serene setting
We enjoyed a wonderful two-week vacation with our family of four in this beautifully updated home! We had plenty of room to spread out. Our daughters had a private retreat on the second floor with two bedrooms and a sitting room with big screen TV. My husband and I loved our master suite on the third floor (just six steps up from the second floor) which was very private with a beautiful balcony overlooking a pond with heavy vegetation. We loved having our coffee there every morning. We also loved the large lower deck with plenty of room for a cook out. We also loved that the garage is fully stocked with towels, chairs, ice chests and wagon for the beach. The house is located in quiet neighborhood and we had many lovely daily walks with our dog. When we arrived, it looked as if the lawn service had not been there in some time to blow off all the leaves and branches on the driveway, sidewalk, deck and master bedroom deck. I contacted the owner/property manager and she responded immediately. The next day this was taken care of to our great satisfaction. Only a few complaints. The house is on the wrong side of the main road that winds through the island. So you have to cross a very busy street to ride your bikes. It is also much too far to walk to the beach and requires you to drive. The lockbox where you find the key is impossible to close. So I would recommend that this be replaced. Also, I would recommend the cleaning service wash and vacuum all the floors. They certainly use the swiffer but the floors throughout needed a cleaning. Other than that, the house we very clean! In several areas on the first floor, the floors are warping but this was not a big deal. The responsiveness of the owner/property manager was outstanding. She checked in with us regularly to make sure we were satisfied. When we had requests, she immediately took care of them. I would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely home!

Well Stocked House
This house has the best stocked kitchen of any we've ever stayed in, which was great as we had both Easter and a birthday to celebrate. In addition, the garage has beach chairs, dog toys, a cooler, dog blankets, poop bags, two types of beach carts - so generous!! The deck easily fits 8 - hard to tell from the photo and even has a gate so dogs can be safely on the deck. Also, Karen is super responsive and easy to work with. The house is super close to Night Heron Park if you have young ones who need a park or pool rather than the Ocean. It also has a place to park if you're going to the Ocean and need to bring a lot of stuff, as well as bathroom access. This place is a definite one to rent!

We had a great time at this house. Very well equipped with grilling tools, kitchen items, coffee filters, sugar, etc. Owners took every precaution possible for Covid including UV filtration in the HVAC and UV air purifiers in all rooms.

Biggest problem was wavy floors in living-dining room, kitchen, master bedroom. Decks were wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Could have used grab bar in master bath shower. It was close to the store and short drive to beach.

Nice change of scenery
After so many zoom calls and staying home to be safe we needed a "change of scenery". The home is lovely and the layout worked out perfectly as our daughter had to be at school virtually during the weekdays. She worked from the second floor den while my husband and I spent our time on the first floor den/kitchen and the master suite and deck on the third floor. We enjoyed taking our dogs for walks and to the beach (which they LOVED). Grateful for people who will allow "well behaved" four legged members of the family in thier homes.

Perfect Getaway
1. From the beginning, Karen was proactive and timely with communications. 2. The place was very clean. Sometimes when you stay in a place that is pet friendly, the cleanliness can be questionable, but I would rate this place at the top as far as cleanliness. 3. The place was well provisioned with beach stuff. 4. Like a hotel, you get nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner and even detail kit in case you forgot. 5. We definitely recommend and will keep in mind for future visits. 6. We also recommend Kiawah Island Bike Rentals (843) 747-2453 which was not in the book. Amazing service, the owner Rick still answers the phone and it sounds like a family run business with his son Morgan delivering the bikes.

Great Labor Day getaway
We had a wonderful three nights day. It was so enjoyable to be able to bring our dogs to the beach. The location was easy access and a quiet neighborhood for dog walks. Karen was wonderful as a property manager in assisting us with everything that was required. Thank you very much for opening up your home

Great stay on Kiawah
Overall great property, well-maintained, better than the pictures. Karen was very responsive and continued to keep in touch up to and throughout the stay to make sure everything was going well. House had everything you needed for cooking, town information, and stuff to do inside. Also had an abundance of beach toys, chairs, umbrella, wagon, towels, etc. that were utilized throughout the stay. Overall, a great experience from booking through the stay at a great property.
