Perfect place to enjoy Kiawah
This condo wad exactly as advertised and a great place for our family of 4 to enjoy Kiawah. Very clean and well appointed. We especially loved the porch and being able to observe the incredible wildlife.

Another great stay at Blue Pearl
This is our third or fourth stay at Blue Pearl and as always, it was great. Very clean. Comfortable beds and we loved the updated furniture on the back porch.

Wonderful stay
The Blue Pearl was great! We loved the location and the easy access to the beach. The condo was very clean and nicely renovated and had everything we needed. The screened porch was very nice! It was perfect for our family, we would love to stay there again! We might love Kiawah even more in the fall than the summer, if that’s possible😊

Girl’s trip
The villa was perfect for our first visit to Kiawah Island. All the rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon. The appliances were new, with a kitchen stocked with all our cooking needs. The living room had a nice sectional with a large TV. Stay at this villa for a wonderful time!

Everything was very simple in booking, checking in and out. You get texts and emails with all important info to have T your fingertips. They will tell you if early check in is available. They will reply immediately at any time if you text. We stayed late august, so kiawah was quiet albeit hot (but hey it’s SC)

Wonderful villa for Kiawah family trip!
We truly enjoyed staying at this villa for 4 nights! It was very family-friendly and was a very convenient walk or bike ride to the beach. The unit was also newly renovated and had a great kitchen, plenty of space, and very modern bathrooms and bedroom amenities. The lagoon was amazing and we saw all kinds of wildlife. Thanks for providing a great vacation rental for our enjoyable trip to Kiawah! 5 stars.

Relaxing Stay on Kiawah Island!
We stayed in this lovely condo for 7 nights. It was exceptionally clean, had all the necessities, a cozy couch to curl up, a comfortable bed & a lovely little patio overlooking a pond. We spent each morning on the patio sipping coffee, enjoying the sounds of the morning. The neighborhood is incredibly private & quiet and very close to the beach. We rented bikes and mostly got around the island this way all week. We absolutely loved our stay & hope to come back and visit next year. Thank you again for everything - we loved it!

Best Condo ever
This was our 5th trip to Kiawah Island and without a doubt this was the best condo we have stayed in. The reservation process from the beginning to check out time was seamless. Complimentary cookies and wine greeted us as we entered. The condo was sparkling clean, even the screened porch!!! The kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals. Although, the non-sticks frying pans were worn with scratches and should be replaced. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and the sheets and towels were pure white. Complimentary sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner, soap and face wipes were an added perk! We loved seeing alligators, turtles and birds from the porch overlooking the pond. The condo is easy walking or biking distance to the beach. We thoroughly loved our stay and we will be back!!!

Very nice space, with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living space exactly as advertised and described in prior reviews. Was also stocked with a couple days of paper towel, soaps, etc... more than even expected. Mattresses could be upgraded, but other than that, easily 5 stars.

Perfect fall getaway
Spending each morning on the porch was the perfect start to the day, we loved the wooded area the home is situated in and it’s proximity to the beach on foot or bike worked out well for all of us. The kitchen is nice and open so it was fun to cook at home one night. Loved it!

Blue Pearl review
Stayed here for five nights with my husband and two teenage daughters. The inside of her condo was beautifully decorated and we loved the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon. The location was great, but just be aware that it is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and on the second day we rented bikes which made things so much easier and more enjoyable in terms of getting to and from the beach each day. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and the check in process/check out process was super simple. Only had two very minor complaints which would be that the accessory appliances such as the coffee maker and toaster could really use an upgrade. For the luxury of the condo, these were on par with a college dorm room. We couldn’t even fit our toast into the toaster because it was so shallow and cheap. My only other second minor complaint would be that the cushions on the outdoor porch could use an upgrade. They are cream color and have a fair amount of staining/discoloration. A multicolor fabric would definitely do better to hide the appearance of any wear and tear and they could for sure use to be replaced as they just did not fit in with the overall decor/vibe of the condo. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this rental!

Meeting & Vacation/Left Early From Property/Not Worth It!!
This VRBO property DOES NOT ALLOW any access to any Kiawah Island resort pools or amenities-only the ocean & beach. Also, you DON’T qualify for ANY discounts for golf on the ENTIRE Kiawah Island property if you rent through VRBO. You are subject to off resort golf rates which in one case was $225.00 more for 18 holes of golf (Ocean Course)! The villa/property was clean and updated nicely but I had to notify the property manager regarding damage I found while renting the property. The damage was minimal but I felt it should’ve been reported to the property manager. There was demolition next door to the adjacent property for 3 of the five days we were there which also added to the whole negative experience. Since my wife had no access to the pools, she had to listen to demolition for 3 days while I was in meetings. Also, I was asked NOT to give a NEGATIVE REVIEW on their (listing website) because they only accept 5-star reviews and complaints/poor reviews were given a separate website/link that isn’t published on the website (which doesn’t let future renters know the whole story). If you are looking for JUST LODGING, this is a very clean and updated 2Br/2/Ba villa. If you want to use anything other than the beach, this was not worth what we spent to stay here. The minor cost savings does NOT outweigh the overall use of the Kiawah Island property. Had I known this up front, I would have chosen to go through the resort. The resort is beautiful-especially if you can use the ENTIRE property! Otherwise, this villa listed through VRBO is simply a place to sleep/stay on the island. Kiawah Island Resort has made it nearly impossible for VRBO renters to access/use anything on the resort if NOT rented through their booking/reservation department. If this were made clear Up-Front by VRBO, I would have chosen my stay differently.

We're glad you enjoyed the beautiful condo and that the condo was clean! We do clearly state in the listing that there is NO RESORT POOL access with this listing. We do repeatedly remind everyone that the best way to avoid disappointments such as yours is to fully READ the listing. We do not advertise or imply that we get any discounts to resort amenities where there is a fee charged. Our guests may use the beach, the trials, rent bikes, eat at restaurants, visit the spa, play tennis and play golf. Of course these latter activities have a charge. We handle hundreds of guests a year who have a wonderful time in Kiawah. We also suggest that you re-read our emails, no where do we say we prevent negative reviews. We understand negative reviews are a part of the business and that we can only control so much of the guest experience. In this case the condo that you loved and its cleanliness are under our control. We can't force people to read the listing, we wish we could then people like yourself wouldn't book a home that isn't going to work for them. In future please do read the listing carefully to avoid disappointment.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Pearl. The condo is nice and clean. It was reasonably spacious for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). The location is excellent with a lagoon view, closeness to the beach and the tennis courts. The hosts were great at communicating with us all the details before and during our stay. We had a great time and would probably rent this property again.

Full beds instead of twins!
Really enjoyed a quick fall break trip with my husband and high school sons. Nice to book a place with two full beds in the second bedroom. We enjoyed time together watching football games on the big screen TV. My favorite spot in the house was the screened in porch. So peaceful for morning coffee and evening wine!

Very nice, clean and well-decorated condo in an excellent location. Kitchen and supplies were adequately stocked. Nice beachy feel to the decor. Seamless check-in. Wine and cookies were a sweet extra touch!

Beautiful condo
Beautifully decorated and very comfortable condo. Great screened in porch overlooking the lagoon. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
