"Everything was amazing to the food, the service, the comfort, the room. The staff by the pool to get the towels were surly from time to time but we loved the free ice cream mochi that came by every afternoon. Additionally we wished there was an adults only pool or at least an adults only time period for the infinity pool, because there were many kids jumping from things they shouldn’t be jumping from into a shallow pool and splashing people that were trying to Sun bathe or relax by the pool. "

"This property is really built more like a timeshare mini-apartment setup with its built in kitchenette and washer / dryer combo. It’s in a quieter part of Maui so it has more of a laid back feel to it and would suit travelers who really want to have a “home away from home”. Ideal for people who have their own car rental. Nice central location with convenient travel times to different parts of the island. The timeshare “talk” is 90 min for a $300 gift card and discounts to other activities around the island. Supposedly no pressure afterwards but I didn’t personally go to listen to it. The washer has a little separate side box on the wall that you have to activate (press button until it turns green) before the washer will actually run a load. Avoid the “breakfast included” option unless you really love egg McMuffins. The breakfast is made to order at the on-site “grab and go” store (8a - 3p) and is limited specifically to the English muffin breakfast sandwich - choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. No substitutions allowed. Also comes with one canne Aloha fruit drink or a large coffee. The breakfast also ends at 11am but it doesn’t say that anywhere on the voucher. I would suggest Hilton really consider making this arrangement more flexible (i.e. breakfast sandwich or item or cheaper value) instead of being so rigid. After all, wouldn’t you get tired of the same thing day after day? The menu says you can get it with English muffin or bagel. All in all, still a great hotel. "

"This hotel is a must stay when in Maui! Gorgeous views of the ocean from the room and only steps away from the beach. The hotel has an onsite store with plenty of goods to choose from. Water activity rentals are available. Location is fairly convenient as many stores and restaurants are a short drive away. Staff are welcoming and helpful! Room was comfortable and felt like a home. "Our overall experience at the Wailea Beach Resort was excellent! We found our room to be clean, spacious and comfortable; ours was an oceanfront room and had a great view looking west where we could see incredible sunsets from our balcony! The hotel offers a luau that felt very authentic (the master of ceremonies and the performers seemed to take their roles with sincere care and respect, yet they definitely looked like they were having fun, which helped all in attendance enjoy the show more!). Food at the luau and restaurants at the hotel was excellent. Being at the southwestern most side of the island, the surrounding area was very quiet and pleasant, with lots of small restaurants and shops to explore. The beaches around the resort were very nice to bath in. Hotel was about 25 min drive from the airport, so not too bad. We recommend the Wailea Beach Resort for anyone staying in Maui!"
