Luana Kai Resort is located on Maui’s South Shore on the Ocean side of S Kihei Road. Beautifully landscaped grounds w swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, cabana outdoor kitchen, and gas barbecue grills. Tennis courts, pickle ball courts, 9 hole putting green, and shuffle board. Complex is steps away from the ocean. 2 B/ 2B 2 story unit located on the top floor (3rd floor) with Ocean views off the lanai. 5 to 10 minute drive to some of Hawaii’s best beaches, golf, restaurants, and shopping.

Great unit, location

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei over spring break (2025). The unit was great for our family of three and the location was convenient and centrally located. We enjoyed having access to the pool, hot tub and beach right outside our door but also taking lots of day trips to explore the island.

Nice place to stay

Great spacious apartment for 5 people. You will have everything necessary and even more in this place. Very convenient location: stores, food trucks, restaurants, shops are walking distance. Great pool area with bbq and tables. Open till 9pm. You can grill and have dinner right there. We were very happy to stay at this place.

Great location, perfect stay

First time in Maui, and loved being right on the beach every day and very centrally located with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The condo was clean and in good shape and had plenty of room for a family of four. The property manager was timely and responsive to any questions or needs. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

The place was exactly as described and was just what our family of 5 needed for our vacation. The patio was perfect to eat out on! The extras were amazing to have. All your beach needs so you don’t have to rent chairs, cooler etc. The condo had lots of supplies for you to use, example spices for cooking. We would definitely stay again! Trisha was awesome to deal with. Always responded right away if we had questions.

Wonderful place!

The location is perfect! The condo is clean, spacious, and the beach in the front is peaceful and calm. We enjoyed a few mornings and sunsets here. Trisha is very accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful time and definitely will stay here again!

Great location and great pool area.

We loved the pool area with grills, hot tub , sauna, and complete kitchen set up. My son and granddaughter and I spent several evenings grilling out at the large pool area. Easy check in process, and great communication with the owner.

Amazing Maui Rental!

We so much enjoyed our stay in this condo. The host, Trisha, was so quick to reply and respond to any questions and concerns. Check in was seamless and the parking was plentiful. The condo has lovely new kitchen appliances and was well stocked with everything needed…plenty of linens, towels, kitchenware, spices…and the welcome basket of chocolates and popcorn was appreciated. The lovely ocean view from the lanai was a bonus for morning coffees and evening cocktails. Whale, monk seal and turtle sightings were abundant from the beach, and nearby shops and restaurants within walking distance were so convenient. The pool, hot tub and bbq area was clean and never too busy. Thank you for sharing your condo with us, Trisha. Mahalo!

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay in the unit, which was tidy and well stocked with towels and beach equipment. We made regular use of the facility’s shuffleboard court, hot tub, pool and grills. We also took advantage of the unit’s proximity to the beach with daily visits, especially for the sunsets. The unit’s AC units were also an added bonus. Thanks for your hospitality!

Great place for a family or a couple

We really enjoyed this property! The condo itself had everything so we were able to relax. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes and spices. The fridge space was so nice for leftovers and we were able to fit large pizza boxes in there. The linens were stocked as well. We had plenty of blankets, sheets, pillows, towels and a great selection of beach/pool items. The lanai was so nice to sit on and enjoy breakfast and sunsets. The location is great! So many yummy places to eat nearby and plenty of public beaches within a few miles. We also enjoyed walking and playing on the beach in front of the property. The host was also very quick to respond as well as had wonderful recommendations for us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Maui!

Homey and Comfortable

My son, his wife and their 2 small children were very comfortable in the nicely furnished condo. The kitchen included all the items you might want for doing your own cooking. After a busy day, they enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. Luana Kai is a lovely, smaller resort.

Decent Condo in a great location

We felt that the condo itself was nothing to write home about, but the complex and location made this a decent place to stay. Communication with the owner was terrific and for the popular things to do, we felt staying in Kihei was terrific. Complex has nice pool/hot tub area with a number of grills to use. And if you are in to pickleball, there are 8 courts about 50 feet from the water. Amazing views while playing.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

This was a perfect condo for our family of 4! It was clean, comfortable and had lots of amenities. The air conditioning was a plus as well. The grounds were lovely and the pool area, with the outdoor kitchen, was a fun place to hang out. The property location was ideal, as it was central to many of the sites we visited on the island. It was very laid back, quiet, and didn't feel overcrowded. The staff in the office and around the grounds were friendly. Check in and out was super easy. We definitely hope to come back again some day!

Family trip

We had a really nice stay here. The condo was very clean, airy, and felt perfect for what we were looking for. The outside balcony is perfect for meals for a family of four. We pretty much had every meal out on the balcony, with a view of the ocean. The Condos were overall very quiet, which we really appreciated. We also really enjoyed playing Pickleball at the courts on the ocean-side. We were far enough to not hear the pickle ball, but close enough to be able to enjoy playing in the afternoons. The condo also had pickleball rackets for four people, beach chairs, beach, umbrellas, a large cooler, and a snorkeling mask. Perfect for our beach excursions. The host was very kind and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this place.

Clean beautiful 3rd floor apt w/ a Lanai-partial ocean & garden view. Great communications with the owner. 2 story apt: very clean, 3 TV's, W/D, very nice kitchen. Kihei visit

It looked nicer in the pictures, living room furniture crowded. Didnt use the tv except to view our vacation photos, worked fine Beds comfortable, bathrooms ok. I understand there is always a problem with sand plugging up the bath tub & shower drains. Overall it was as advertised.

Clean condo

Trisha was a great host- very responsive and had good suggestions on things to do in the area. While the unit is a little dated, the condo was as pictured in the listing. Twin beds in the bedroom were nice for the two kids, but the bed frames were fairly loud / squeaky. It was nice to have the beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach umbrella to use. A few other fun items that might be nice to include are pickle ball paddles, and a golf putter/balls. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
