The property is conveniently located with one block to the beach and marine research center. We had everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom doesn't have an A/C so we kept the door open to let living room AC provide some cool air.

It was amazing!!

It was amazing! Located in a really great area with so much to do right there. Only one AC unit in the condo so it was pretty toasty but it was tolerable. Would definitely stay here again

Pleasant Stay with Family for Spring Break

We enjoyed the condo. We stayed with 2 tweens. We used the pool and hot tub daily. The accommodations were nice. Parking was great to have close and was free. We were very close to the beach. We cooked a lot of meals in the condo and used the washer and dryer as well. Good spot to stay for the week and take in all the the island had to offer. We would stay again.

Kihei Bay Vista Stay

The property was more than I had hoped for. The location is right across from a park with beach access and the National Humpback Whale Institute. The condo was well maintained and clean. Extras included dish washing liquid, a washer and dryer with detergent pods, and some beach gear (beach towels, snorkels, flippers, beach chairs and a small cooler). There was plenty of parking close to my unit. The swimming pool and hot tub were convenient, and I enjoyed talking with other guests.I definitely would book another stay here.

Nice vacation

The condo complex was quiet, with a nice hot tub/pool area. It is a short drive to public beaches with lifeguards and restaurants. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay!

Perfect location with everything you may need

Highlight: walking distance from the beach! So close that you could nearly see the beach & ocean from there the balcony. The area had very warm weather while we were there (mid-high 80s during the day), so keeping the windows open overnight was super helpful. In-unit washer and dryer was a game changer.

10 day stay- loved it. Directly across from beach where sea turtles come to rest. Beautiful and quiet- not too "touristy" and right down the street from the ABC store and Ululani's Shaved Ice. Condo was cute and comfy with many amenities- washer/ dryer, full kitchen, AC. Loved our stay here- will definitely consider staying again!

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this lovely condo. It is very spacious for a one bedroom. Also the location was great very relaxing but close enough to the restaurants, beaches, and shops in the area. With the equipped kitchen and barbeques we were able to cook in when we wanted to and eat out on the lanai. We appreciated the laundry, beach decor and beach extras (cooler, beach chairs) that we included with the condo. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Great one bedroom condo

Very nice, quiet, great location, close to everything, easy parking. Place was clean, only complaint would be the hot water just NOT hot at all...barely warm. Not good for cleaning, sanitizing. But otherwise great place!

Nice tidy condo

The condo was clean, spacious, well equipped, and appreciated the fans and AC. Loved the lanai on this 2nd flr condo, big screen flat TV with sound bar made for a nice home theatre experience in evening. Especially practical/useful was washer/dryer in the unit. Two thumbs up!

Cute condo.

Clean, nice furnishings. Read the whole description; 1 bed & 1 pullout couch/sleeper that is not suitable for 2 adults to be comfortable or who have back issues. Pictures make it look like 2 full sized beds. Other than that we loved it.

Enjoyed our stay in Maui

Great location, access to beaches, the turtle sanctuary/whale across the street. Restaurant's are in proximity, but the kitchen is supplied with usual items to enjoy a meal. Great to use the cooler to transport food items (freezer packs in freezer), and beach chairs and well loved beach umbrella, to the beach! The hot tub and pool were enjoyed- great temp for both! Nice undercover area and sunny area in the pool area. One suggestion; access to an additional stand up fan- to be used in the living room, for example. We did use the A/C, but the fan can help push air through the condo. We enjoyed our stay; Thank you!

Maui Condo

Overall, our stay was great! There were a couple of issues though that could be addressed. We did lots of cooking as we prefer that to eating out every meal for a week. The microwave in this condo kicks the circuit off after a few seconds. We tried turning off the bathroom lights as they appeared to be tied to the same circuit but it did not work. I also had to buy a lighter to light the outside grill. It would have been nice to have some cleaning solution of some kind to clean up messes. Otherwise this condo is clean and in a great location!

Bay Vista Vacation

This was our 4th trip to Kihei in as many years, but our 1st stay at the Bay Vista. Overall, we were quite happy with this condo. Nice size, comfortable, & having access to a washer & dryer any time was wonderful! For the most part, the condo description was right on....but the view from the lanai is really of the parking lot. & into the bedrooms of the 2 end condos in the adjacent building! Well, there is a tree! Location is far enough back to block a lot of the road noise, but if you sleep with the windows open, be ready to wake up with the roosters & guinea hens out in the natural area! We didn't make use of any of the Bay Vista features, but the grounds were well maintained, the BBQ's clean & ready to use, & pool area was never noisy, even on weekends. Have always liked Kalepolepo Beach, but were surprised to see all the wind surfers there now! That was fun! And even tho this spring the fish trap was 1/2 full of sand, turtles were in it & the fish were jumping! Oh...the Polynesian Village Luau is no more. Apparently the fire dancers had a mishap & started a fire! Downside of condo...I would get some serious deep cleaning done in it. Shelf in laundry nook was gunky with old soap (under the clean linens), that shower curtain liner needs washing....and those brooms in the closet were scary! And had no rice cooker!! OK, that wasn't critical!! We found dirty dishes in the cupboards. Quite a few. Whoever does your cleaning between renters really needs to be more thorough. Oh yea! The tub drains slow, too!! But, we most certainly would rent this condo again, as well as recommend it to traveling friends!

Clean but customer consideration and check in was lacking

We came to Maui to celebrate a family event and would only be in town for a day and a half. We contacted the Management company to request an early check in due to the fact that our flight arrived in Maui at 1 pm and our event was scheduled for 5:00 pm the same day. We were hoping to get into the apartment earlier than 4 pm so that we could shower and get freshened up before the event. We contacted the property manager twice. Management made no effort to accommodate our request. When we arrived at the unit, we became aware that the unit did not have an elevator. Being older ladies, this made it difficult to carry our luggage up the stairs to the unit. Not having an elevator in the building was not listed in the description. Had we known there was not an elevator, we never would have rented this unit. When we entered the unit at 4pm on the dot, the temperature in the unit was around 100 degrees. There was no air turned on to the unit prior to our arrival. (It was clear that no one had been in the apartment prior to our arrival and that an early check in would have been possible) It took nearly a half a day for the apartment to get to a half way comfortable temperature. The bedroom never really made it to a comfortable temperature and never would have without the fan blowing directly on you when you were trying to sleep. We would not use this condo again.

Quiet, safe, great location!

The property and unit was clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the condo met or exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again. Easy checkin process and parking was plentiful. Great for couples and small families.

Beautiful stay

The property was easy to find from the airport. It was clean and very nice. The beach gear was really nice to have during our stay and we used it daily. There are a lot of good places near by and many beaches within walking distance or a very short drive. The owner was very responsive when i had inquiries and check out was also very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Air conditioning

Everything was great except it was hot in the condo. The instructions are to turn off the AC when you go out. When you return to the unit it is hot and takes ages to get comfortable with the AC running, 2 ceiling fans and 1 floor standing fan I recommend better blinds in the bedroom to cut back on the radiating heat. As I said everything else was fabulous. Just cross the road to the beach to swim and see sea turtles or do some beach combing. It was quiet and everyone was friendly. Thank you

Tropical getaway

The property and location were great. We were close to almost everything and having the beach literally out the front door was fantastic. The only miss was not having a broom to sweep up and the dishwasher didn’t work. Overall a great place and a great location!!

Great location!

We were very impressed with the accommodations of this property including the beach gear for use and the cleanliness. Our only complaint is that the window air unit was in the living room and did not send any cool air to the bedroom. Because it didn't cool done below 70s during our stay, it made for warm nights and uncomfortable to sleep. Everything else was perfect!

clean and affordable

The room was very nicely decorated in an hawaiian style interior. Very clean and updated.It comes with everything you need including washer and dryer. Bedroom could use a a/c unit it was a little on the warm side. but does have a/c in the front room. Nice place.
