Gated 2-story beach house with big yard

Hoku Lani, or “Heavenly Star” is a two story air conditioned 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with lofty ceilings, concrete construction and gorgeous details throughout. You’ll love the mahogany and kiwi custom cabinetry and granite countertops in our gourmet chef kitchen. Fine touches like redwood interior doors with patina copper panels, wood and copper details and sculpted pedestals add to the ambience and luxury.

This beautiful 1460 square foot home is situated in the heart of kihei on the Maui Beach Walk, just steps to the ocean and all it has to offer, from surfing at Cove Park, to swimming and snorkeling at Charlie Young Beach. Here you can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking and other water activities or just lounge on the beautiful sand beach and take in the gorgeous views.

Hoku Lani Beach House sleeps 8 and is spacious for 6, is walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, live entertainment and more. It is ideal for a family, two couples with children, or a family with grandparents wanting a luxurious living space. The beach house is set back from the street, creating a one of-a-kind large spacious yard and private environment. You can walk everywhere, cook indoors or out and is great for entertaining.

We came to Celebrate our 50th wedding Anniversary with children and grandchildren and everyone loved the Hoku Lani Beach House. Tammy was always courteous and responsive and a pleasure to work with and everything at the house was fantastic. Very neat, clean, well stocked and so close to everywhere we went and did. We definitely recommend the Beach House for a relaxing, quiet, and fun experience and we are looking forward to coming back soon to stay at the Beach house again.

Wonderful beach home!

The Hoku Lani Beach House was perfect for our stay with extended family in Kihei. The house was close to the beach and had all of the items we needed for fun beach days. It was well equipped for grilling and cooking at home meals. The owners were responsive and helpful when needed. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic property and phenomenal location

Had a great time at this place. Tammy was nice and welcoming the place is great. A 1 minute walk to Charlie Young beach. The place is very convenient and well set up for a large group.

Perfect private kihei location

Very close to the beach. Very private with beautiful landscaping. Well supplied with all the beach equipment you'd need. Spacious and comfortable for our group. Walkable to some good food, snorkeling, boogie boarding and sun sets!

Wonderful house and wonderful experience

The house was perfect for our visit with family. There were multiple areas inside and out to relax or spend time in. The grounds were beautiful...even one orchid blooming.

Beautiful Home in a great location!

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this house. Situated within walking distance of a great beach and close to plenty of shopping, you couldn’t ask for a better location. The property is fenced in which allows for privacy and a sense of security. There are plenty of amenities in the house including surfboards, boogie boards, chairs and an umbrella for the beach, bikes a ping pong table, a hammock and much more. We had a great time and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

If your debating renting this place just do it.

This house is incredible and it has EVERYTHING you could need. Communication with Tammy is easy if you have any questions or need anything. Excellent beach access down the street and a huge yard. The gate also gave us a peace of mind with our toddler.

Great House for group or large family

Perfect walking location to all the beaches and amenities in Kihei. House was beyond well stocked and had every item you’d want or need for the beaches. The grounds were great to lay about in and the property overall was in top shape. Will certainly look to book again if we ever travel with another family.

Amazing Christmas family vacation.

What a great place to spend our first family vacation, and especially at Christmas. The house was very unique making it feel like we were staying in a place that truly felt Hawaiian. The yard was perfect for the grand kids to play in and being so close to the beach made it easy to walk. Having the wagon to haul all the provided beach equipment along with us was great. Would highly recommend this vacation to families for a vacation. Thankyou to Tammy.

Beautiful home

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this beautiful home. The house has so much character. We are a family of 5 adults and had plenty of room. The yard was a great spot to just hang out and relax after playing at the beach all day. The living room had comfortable furniture for lounging in the evenings too. The location is unbeatable. We walked everywhere! Looking forward to our next stay.

Get ready for a special time

Reviews I read hinted at how wonderful this place is and it's true and then some. The grounds, furnishings, equipment, kitchen, and everything you would want in a home to be comfortable were there. So many nice touches and if you want to cook some or all of your meals, you will have no problem having everything you need include a BBQ grill. I only wish we had more time to make use of all the house had to offer. The beach is just a three minute walk to the south and two minute walk to the north is a cove to watch surfers. It's on a quiet street just off the main road and accessible to restaurants, stores, and not a long drive to the other parts of the island. Owner was friendly and communication was easy, friendly, and helpful. We're grateful for a special time.

Amazing..

Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for a week. 5 adults and two little ones. The home is very comfortable, nice furniture, blankets, comfy beds, comfy outdoor furniture, well appointed kitchen, and the bikes were so fun too. The outdoor tub was a hit with the kids and the outdoor shower (with warm water!!) was loved by all. Perfect location for this beautiful, secluded private yard located 1/2 block from nice beach, close to groceries, restaurants etc. Tammy was an exceptional host, we had two separate requests that were dealt with very efficiently and with grace- much appreciated. Hope to get back here again as it’s the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at in Maui - Recommend 100% if could give more than 5 stars we would. Thanks Tammy:)

Unforgettable vacation

This truly felt like a home away from home. It is generously stocked with lots of little items you didn't know you needed, like cold aloe gel in the fridge. Lots of condiments, spices, and cookware. Enough plates and glasses for a party! Tons of towels, too. My grandchildren enjoyed the ping pong table, scooter, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear. There's an ABC store and shaved ice a short walk away, not to mention several beautiful beaches as well. Something to know that might be important for others is that the bedroom/sleeping space on the second floor has no doors. The downstairs bedrooms have open transomes over the doors. You can hear pretty much everything going on most of the time. Not a deal breaker for us but may be for some.

What a gem!

This lovely Hawaiian home was everything we needed. The location is incredible with restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and highway access very close by. The Charlie Young beach/Kameole 1 Beach is half a block away with a long wide beach and sandy access into the water. Our adult kids played cornhole for hours in the yard, and there’s also a ping-pong table along with everything we needed for the beach. The house itself was always refreshingly cool, we had plenty of hot water for showers, laundry, and dishes, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals at home. There is both a Keurig and traditional drip coffee maker. The king size bed was a bit firm for our taste, but the queen, full, and two twins were very comfy as was all the bedding. The upstairs bedroom does not have a door, but it is not visible from the rest of the house though sound does travel up there. Of worthy note is that the house did not have bugs (well, one baby gecko inside), and the critters outside were geckos, lizards, snails, and one praying mantis. We didn’t have cockroaches or ants to deal with, and we only saw only one big spider in one of the outside plants. Very nice!We would readily stay here again and happily recommend this property. Awesome Relaxation Spot

Great place to stay in Kihei near the beach. Central to many walkable locations. Beach across the street with turtles sleeping at night. We had fresh mango salsa from the backyard tree everyday. And key lime pie from the lime tree in the front yard. We had 7 adults and a kid. Plenty of space for 6 and 2 in the alcove bed upstairs.

This was one of the best houses we have ever stayed at. The home was exceptional, and we had toys for the beach, a lanai out of every bedroom, and a wonderful kitchen for cooking in. There was even a ping-pong table for us to set up outside. The beach was less than a block away. We would rent this house again if the opportunity ever came up.
