Great place

Perfect location for nearby beaches, shopping, local food/restaurants, amazing golf course at Wailea Golf Club. Place was clean and check in was easy.

Would stay here again.

Smooth process booking and checking in/out. The property is located in a very central location that was easy to navigate. Parking was great. Beds were comfortable and kitchen is nice to have. Would stay here again if we return to Maui.

Comfortable, well stocked, great location

We really enjoyed our stay -- there were 4 of us and having 2 generously sized bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. The condo was clean and simply decorated, had everything you need to cook a few meals and to enjoy the time at the beach! Location was great, not too far from airport but still close enough to resorts of Wailea and town of Kihei.

Amazing stay right in the heart of Wailea!!

This was honestly one of the best condos in the area with walking distances to the shops at Wailea, amazing beaches, pools, restaurants, etc. Pat is an incredible host and our stay was amazing!! Definitely recommend staying here!! 6/5 stars!

Perfect accommodations for two couples

Perfect accommodations for two couples. The two master bedrooms made it super nice to go with another couple. There was a mixup on our first night of arrival however the owner was awesome about it.

Great location and very beautiful condo, as a bonus it has all the amenities you need to enjoy Maui

We love staying in this complex, everything you need is within walking distance. We highly recommend this clean and comfy unit which provides a full kitchen with lots of kitchen supplies including pots and pans, chef knives, plates etc... and beautiful lanai to enjoy your home cooked meals.

Lovely stay in Wailea

We were so glad to stay at Pat’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious! The kitchen was quite well-stocked with cooking tools etc and the location is fantastic. And it was very easy and pleasant to communicate with Pat. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful condo, perfect location. Lovely place to stay

We stayed in this condo in May of 2011. It is very spacious and nice to have a full kitchen. It is in a very quiet place which made it easy to relax. It is very clean and quaint. It's at a perfect location. Minutes from the beach. We loved it here and hope to go back again.

Fabulous stay!

From the booking process to our stay…Wonderful! The condo is located in a fabulous Wailea location and even within the complex. The unit is spacious, has an in unit washer/dryer, parking stall conveniently located in front of the unit, a/c, plus very comfortable and serene. Everything and more for a great stay! Fabulous two bedroom condo with a patio looking out to tropic lush with singing birds

Comfortable big condo with a huge double patio in a gated community with two swimming pools. AC and fans available. Kitchen well equipped, very caring and attentive owner. Close to shops on Wailea and Wailea Beach.

We stayed in this condo f...

We stayed in this condo for 5 nights in Mar 10, and had an absolutely WONDERFUL time. This unit has all the comforts of home, and is stocked with lots of nice surprises (like beach chairs and boogie boards). I will definitely stay here again...Maui is absolutely gorgeous, and this condo helped make our family vacation one to remember for a lifetime.

Beautiful condo in Wailea

My family had a wonderful stay in March 2022. The unit was spacious, clean and well-organized with everything needed for cooking your own meals. Pat (the owner) was very responsive to any questions that we had and was wonderful to communicate with. The unit was equipped with beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards and beach chairs. We have stayed in many different units at Grand Champions and this was our favourite!!

Aloha Spirit in Wailea

Beautiful location in Wailea. The property was safe, parking good, pool access was close and private with shower and restroom. Nice private view from our balcony. It is close to shopping and restaurants and first class golf. We had one issue we needed to talk to Pat about and she was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. It needs a little updating but we were very pleased with it. Highly recommend this property!

Christmas time getaway

My family of four including a teenage daughter and 22 year old son had an excellent time in Maui. The condo was well furnished and equipped with snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and more. The air temps got got into the low 80s each day and comfortable enough at night to never need the air conditioner. Several beautiful public beaches were located within a 5 minute drive. It all passed too quickly...

Great condo!

My family and I enjoyed your stay at your wonderful condo. It had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped. We were five in total and there was lots of room for all of us. The bedrooms were spacious. I really enjoyed the Lanai and the gardens. It is a private place and in a great location. We made good use of the beach equipment that you provide such as boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels. When we return to Maui, we would rent this condo again.

Pat is a wonderful host. Communication was very easy and friendly. She even enabled a late check out for us, since our origin flight was canceled and we had to stay until the evening. The appartement was perfect for our stay on Maui. It is very clean, well equiped and very spacious. Nothing was missing. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony for breakfast or in the evenings. The beds are very cozy with a choice of pillows. I can absolutely recommend this place. We would return anytime.

Great location - great condo!

This condo was perfect for our family trip. It's very spacious, and it was great to have 2 large bathrooms attached to the bedrooms. We had everything we needed for cooking, and it's fully stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach - towels, chairs, beach umbrella, coolers, snorkel gear! It was wonderful! The location is great. It's just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and a grocery store. We could even see the New Year's Eve fireworks set off at the Grand Wailea from the complex! Out family had a wonderful time. Pat was extremely helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Condo

We had the privilege of staying in your beautiful condo June 2 - 10 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Your condo is so well equipped with dishes, linens, hair dryers, tvs, and fun water toys. Everything was extremely clean and the floor plan has a wonderful flow with the open kitchen, living, and dining area. We enjoyed many meals on the lanai listening to all of the birds as well as a few meals cooked on the BBQ s next to the pools. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the management staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to have the chance to return again in the future.

BEAUTIFUL CONDO IN GORGEOUS WAILEA...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pat, "Thank you so much..." for allowing our family to stay in your lovely furnished condo at The Grand Champions in Wailea Maui. The condo is beautiful, clean, spacious, well maintained, nicely organized and ready for vacationers to enjoy. We greatly appreciated ALL the amenities you offer (beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, WiFi, ipod station, washer & dryer, etc.) We enjoyed breakfast out on the lanai daily...it was tranquil. We continue to share our vacation at VRBO #216877 with all our family and friends. Our family had a WONDERFUL time at the Grand Champions in Wailea and can't wait to return soon! Traditional Hawaiian style in amazing Wailea

I would say that this property met all our needs on Maui. Grand Champions has a great location within about 10-12 minutes walk to the beach. It is also 5-6 minutes walk to the Shops at Wailea. If you don’t want to have a car the whole time it is 3 mins from the last bus stop on the Kihei Islander route. The 2 pools were never busy and the BBQs poolside were spotless. If you must have the most recent renoed Condo then this may not be for you as this is not that. It is clean and very functional with all the things you would need and expect. Parking was super convenient and only one flight of stairs to the unit. The separate shower is hardly for those with reduced mobility. Would certainly book again. Mahalo and Aloha.

I was disappointed in this property

When I booked this property it indicated there was a sleeper sofa/futon in the Mstr bedroom. When we got there, the sofa was covered in stains and unsanitary. I emailed the owner and she denied ever listing it that way and then blamed VRBO for the mistake. However, I checked the listing before emailing her and it was still listed that way. There was also a pillow covered in stains which concerned me! Throughout the house signs indicated “don’t use” certain items, such as a bathtub. There were tiny bugs all over the bathrooms and kitchen. The owner left notes which said to take out the trash daily to avoid “critters” but “critters” were already there the minute we walked in. The cell coverage in this area was bad but made worse by the fact that internet service was virtually as slow as dial up. I’ve rented through VRBO multiple times and I’ve never had to give a bad review. However, I feel that I must make note of these inconveniences.

Spacious, clean, excellent privacy, great complex and location in Wailea

Early 2019 during first Grand Champions condo stay we decided to return in January 2020. We discovered then that rental condos here book up well in advance. In our search for a condo appropriate for the two of us we lucked into finding Pat's condo at rates commensurate with the 1br 2ba condos - most already booked. So glad we found and reserved. Upon arrival we found the unit thoroughly clean, a squeaky clean fridge with ice in the freezer and a PURE water pitcher/filter with cold water in fridge - nice after the rigors of travel. As stated in other reviews the kitchen is stocked with about every utensil that one could use, even a crock pot and a french press coffee maker - used for my decaf. The fridge is spacious and well suited for "bulk" buying at COSTCO which significantly offsets meal costs. The freezer section is large and similarly handled our "quantity pack" meat and fish purchases. The MW, range top, oven, and dishwasher all performed as new. We were very impressed with the spacious design and layout of the two bedrooms, roomy bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Tho mostly just the two of us, other than a few guest visits, two couples could have total privacy with en-suite bathrooms and separation provided by the kitchen/living areas. A large lanai overlooking the tree/vegetation ravine to the rear, again great privacy. Entertaining friends for dinners or casual get-togethers was a snap. A full compliment of sturdy beach chairs - I think 5-6, boogie boards, and beach paraphernalia items were included. Multiplier beach and bath towels provided. The stacked washer/dryer in the lanai closet worked well and held fair sized loads. A great large wall mounted smart tv in the living area with comfortable furniture made viewing enjoyable, including provided Netflix. Also nice tv's in each bedroom. Comfy beds. Having a prior Grand Champions stay we were concerned with the eve and early am bird noise from the rear area. Pleasantly surprised at how well the lanai sliders almost eliminated the noise - no problem sleeping in. AC units in each bedroom and living area worked well, for minimal amount of time used. Locking screen doors allowed for open interior doors and with the windows/sliders there was nice air flow throughout. Lots of shops/restaurants, many within walking distance. Easy drive to great beaches. Excellent complex security. Would for sure stay here again.
