This large 2 bedroom, 1 bath ground-floor townhome is beautifully decorated in Hawaiian style decor. There is a Queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, Queen in the second bedroom and one full bath. With 850 square feet of living space, guests also enjoy the additional square footage provided by the large lanai. The lanai overlooks Koa Resort's immaculate gardens, including a nearby fragrant plumeria!

Remodeled in 2009, this beautiful townhome is a peaceful settings for guests ready to get away from it all. Road noise? No way. This townhome is located in Building 2, which is the most desirable building in the Koa Resort complex for a number of reasons:
If you look at the Koa Resort Map, you'll see that Building 2 is located furthest away from both roads (S. Kihei Road & Kulani Hakoi Rd.), making road noise non-existent.

Koa Resort has one of the LARGEST swimming pools in Kihei, which is great considering it is one of the 'smallest' properties. Koa Resort has just 5 low-rise buildings, with only 54 units, making this property a relaxing place to enjoy your Maui vacation.

***We have a 10 to 14 night minimum stay required from December 15 - January 7. Stays within this time period will require 10 nights for one holiday, and 14 nights for both holidays. Our holiday cutoff for a 10-night stay is December 27. Shorter stays that back up to an existing reservation *may* qualify for a waiver of this requirement. Message us BEFORE booking to see if your stay qualifies.

Koa resort

Great pool and green space for kids to play. Great BBQ area and games area. Spacious condo. Would recommend that the bedroom carpets be removed and either replaced or tile flooring installed as they were stained and dirty.

The minute we arrived at this property, we new we needed to find another option. The smell of mold was intense. The bathroom had mold on wall amd seeling and was very dirty. The carpets was filty… this place is very unhealthy. The host never communicated back to us when we told them about the mold. We decided to relocate. We will contact vrbo team because our demand to be refunded never got a response from the host.

Not so deluxe

We came to Maui for a family event so we were in the condo pretty much just to sleep. That worked for us. But if you plan to spend any amount of time there or cook, keep reading. The condo is in need of some basic maintenance. The carpets are horribly stained and smell of mildew. The knives and scissors won't cut anything they are so dull. It would be nice to have some plastic cups that can be used outside. There is mildew in the shower stall. They did leave some chocolates and coffee starters, which was nice.

Having two bedrooms (and also a fold-out bed in the living area) assures that a family can stay there. One bath would become the limiting issue. The master bedroom had A/C; second bedroom only fans. Fully equipped kitchen with a number of supplies left by other guests made things extra easy.

The condo was well set up with a large kitchen and sitting area. Bedrooms were a good size and the sofa bed was one of the most comfortable sofa beds we have experienced. The pool was great and always clean. Quiet place with friendly people. The bbq’s could use some fixing as the igniter didn’t work on two of them but that was minor. The condo could use some bbq utensils. The lanai was beautiful and we sat outside a lot. The trees and flowers surrounding the lanai were lovely. Could use a bit of tending as it’s a little overgrown. The location was far off the “main beaches” but there were some really nice beaches nearby. Right across the road and you are at the perfect place to watch the sunset. Overall we would definitely stay again. Great value.

nice cozy homey

location was great with stores, restaurants, and shopping close by. The staff was friendly. the koa resort grounds were very well maintained. the condo itself, could've used a little more TLC. the walls were dusty. the iron didn't work. alot of the artwork was removed from the walls, so there were nails/hooks sticking out from the walls. we really didn't spend a lot of time in the condo so it wasn't a big deal. we had other people in the resort and other condos were a little more updated. all in all, yes we would come back ... just probably not in 2E...
