Nani Kai Hale 601 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath top floor condo with high efficiency split air conditioning. Light and bright tropical décor and a picture window facing the beautiful Pacific ocean. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing a quick snack or some delicious Hawaiian gourmet meals. The convenient floor plan has two bathrooms.You will enjoy magnificent sunrises over Haleakala from the airy lanai and you are just steps away to stroll the beach and savor breathtaking sunsets. A perfect spot for your Maui Holiday.

At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Nani Kai Hale is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a shared oceanfront pool next to the grassy lawn space. This area also has an outdoor BBQ/kitchen common area and this space is well equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy. Beautiful view of the sunrise and ocean

We very much enjoyed our stay Beautiful sunrises however no sunsets from the balcony . The view of the ocean is great Unfortunately you could not hear the waves because the unit is situated at a very busy road//intersection so there is a lot of traffic noise The unit was clean however the kitchen could have been better organized. Previous guests likely just placed stuff everywhere . The dishwasher needs to be serviced as dishes would not always come clean as evidenced from the dishes put away in the cupboards The unit does need to be upgraded but you can easily overlooked this because it is nicely situated close to the ocean which is a huge benefit We thought it was great value for what we paid

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our Maui vacations. The island is lovely and the people are super friendly and helpful. This particular rental unit was not up to our standards for cleanliness. The unit needs updating (flooring, furniture, bathrooms) all is quite dated and worn. Also, I think it should be noted somewhere about the traffic noise. We could not hear the ocean waves from our unit and often had to close the patio door due to traffic noise.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was a good location and clean but could do with an upgrade. Upon arrival the code for the front door ok but could not access the pool gate or the entrance to the beach as the code was not correct. We spoke to a permanent resident and was told that the code changes monthly. We saw a sign onside the lift that the place had to be fumigated inside the unit but was not notified by the agent. I am tea drinker and there was not a kettle so had to boil water on the stove as not issue but a kettle would be better as there were so many other unnecessary items in the kitchen but no kettle.Overall the place is just ok and we enjoy our stay Maui.

Wonderful location lack luster air-conditioning

So to start the good: The location is amazing, you're between Kihei and Lahaina and the views are stunning The bed was very comfortable and the two bathrooms was very handy after a day at the beach Neutral notes: The condo is very dated, but the view and location make up for a lot of that. The cons: We couldn't get the air conditioners to work in a meaningful way. The living room one was better than the bedroom, and the ceiling fan worked well, but it was still uncomfortably warm. We had some trouble at night falling asleep due to the bedroom temp. We got in late the first day and assumed it hadn't had enough time to cool things off, however once we woke up, we found the air-conditioner did have some cold air but didn't blow it anywhere, so it didn't cool the room. We were there on dive trips, so mostly gone during the day, so I didn't get a chance to call till a couple days in, the person I talked to was nice and said he'd call their air conditioning guy and get back to us. We didn't hear back from him and with our dive schedule weren't able to follow up. So is it a great condo? Yes, but go elsewhere if you sleep hot.

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have stayed her #601 4 times. Best views for ocean or mountain. Close to a ABC store and a shaved ice place. The building is situated right on the beach and the best thing about the place, you have no neighbors around you and just a place below you. Very quiet and all the people that live there are very friendly. Steven is a real joy(he's the onsite helpful maintenance person). The inside of the unit could use a refresh, it is a little dated, but you are just sleeping there. You should be spending your time on the beach right in front and not spending your time inside IMHO! And Bello Realty is fantastic to deal with anytime. Jessica and Jason and their entire crew are just the BEST!!! What can I say, it deserves a 10! We love the place!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a condo for 3 nights. Bello staff rec'd a room on the 6th floor. It was fine. Even though it was not a beach-facing room, the dining table window (shown in the photo) looks out over the ocean. We also found that it has two bathrooms even though it is a one-bedroom apartment. On arrival we found a couple of minor issues, and the staff fixed them within hours of our reporting them. One minor gripe was that there were no washcloths. Overall, it was quite nice.

Only thing that was a bummer was that the dishwasher leaked. But I mopped it up and we just washed by hand. Other than that it was excellent. I loved the fact there were beach chairs and a cooler for us to use. Will absolutely stay there again.

The beach directly in front of the building is perfect for swimming and the lounge chairs and umbrellas are perfect for getting some Sun and watching the sunset. The condo is a little dated but clean and had everything we needed. A delicious bakery, farmers market, shave ice and abc store are a short walk away. So is Kihei canoe club, which accommodates visitors on Tuesday and Thursday.

This unit is at the back of the building which is farthest from the ocean. A nice view from the Lanai. It is not an upgraded unit. New flooring would be a big improvement. We play tennis and their are some public courts that are about a 7 minute drive towards downtown Kihei. We love staying on Sugar Beach. We walk in the morning and enjoy the ocean in the afternoon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived very late, but it was not a problem. Very clear registration instructions and easy parking. The suite is pretty clean. The cupboards contain everything you would ever need except for a kettle. There was no shampoo/ conditioner- so if you need that, bring your own. The soap bars are tiny, so if you are staying for more than a week, you may need to bring some soap too. The bed was super comfortable and large. The ceiling fans were super- we didn't use the air conditioning. The view is spectacular! Morning sun rise and afternoon sun. For the sunset, you will need to go down to the beach which is the best place to see the sunset anyway. In the room, There are lots of towels and and we appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels. It was fantastic to have such a full kitchen. The care taker is super friendly and helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 601 has a great view of Haleakala and Kihei - and with 2 bathrooms, and a seperate bedroom (big bed) it has heaps of space for 2 people. Staff were v friendly and efficient and the complex was well kept and our room was clean. Our best local spots are the Bakery, Dina’s Sandwitch bar, the small farmers market and the local ABC. We walked along the beach to Azeca (1 hr) and took the bus to Southern and West coast beaches - an affordable relaxed way to get around. We loved our 9 day stay.

Great place for the price

I highly recommend staying at this property. It looked just like the photos and has amazing access to the beach. The property has a beautiful lawn area with chairs and umbrellas, great for getting out of the sun while still enjoying the ocean view. It was also very clean and conveniently stocked with beach chairs and coolers.. The location was beautiful and made it easy to travel to surrounding areas. We loved that the farmers market, bakery and abc store were only a few minutes walk from us.

This place was lovely, and clean! We appreciated all the little extras the owners left for us, the beach towels/ coolers and beach chairs were very thoughtful! Kitchen is fully stocked! At night you have a perfect view of the ocean, the roosters are a gentle way to wake up. It’s amazing. We loved it!

Amazing Location

This condo was perfect for being close to beaches but not surrounded by tone of tourist! It’s centrally located so getting to pretty much any area of the island was very easy! It was well stocked with almost anything you could need (other than your food). Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay on the south side of the island! Also, walking distance to a farmers market!

Highly recommend - it's nothing fancy or flashy, but it has everything you need for a couple on vacation or couple with one child. Again, location is perfect, bed was comfy, it had AC, kitchen had everything you need. The location didn't feel super touristy which is a plus, and the beach view is incredible. Great place for a great price.
