This luxurious unit boasts panoramic ocean views from the kitchen, the living room and both bedrooms. Central AC throughout and a flat screen TV in the elegant master, will keep you cool and entertained throughout your stay.

Complete with granite counter tops, hardwood/tiled flooring and a sleek and efficient modern kitchen (fully stocked with everything you need to effortlessly prepare your favorite meals), this plush and spacious unit is hard to beat.

The living area comes equipped with a Large flat screen HD-TV with High Definition Digital Cable service, Netflix and plenty of comfortable seating. Enjoy dinner in the spacious living/dining area or dine al-fresco on the lanai. Better yet, have our in-house complimentary Concierge make dinner reservations for you at one of Maui’s several fine dining options near this beautiful condo. What are you waiting for? Communal Laundry Facility available on-site:
A washer costs 6 quarters a load, and dryers are 1 quarter for each 10 minutes. Soap packets and quarters can be purchased at the office on site. There is also an app you can download on your smart phone to pay for the items.

Located oceanfront in North Kihei, Kauhale Makai (in Hawaiian, “Village by the Sea”) is the ideal location for a family or couples retreat. Two buildings with 168 units total stretch towards the ocean on tropical grounds. The complex provides shuffleboard and volleyball courts, a pool, a children’s wading pool, hot tub, a putting green as well as gas barbecues. Each well-appointed unit includes its very own private lanai (balcony). The complex also has coin-operated laundry facilities on property for your convenience. Kauhale Makai’s location on South Kihei Road makes it the perfect base for exploring this magical island. Just minutes away are some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, superb shopping, renowned restaurants, and world-class golf.

Great ocean view unit! View was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to shopping, food, activities etc. We LOVED the balconies, and the ocean view was amazing! Unit was perfect for our family. Very well stocked kitchen to easily make meals. Hoping to visit Maui again soon! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Excellent view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean and well stocked. The views from the lanai and the bedrooms was phenomenal...full ocean views. We have stayed at this complex before and we really like it. We would highly recommend the condo, property and Sunny Maui Vacations(if we had a problem with anything they were right there to fix it and were very accommodating.

Very Nice place

The location was great and the condo was very well equipped and comfortable. The pool was clean and well maintained. One washer was down in the laundry area. Wish the condo maintained and activated the extra activities like volleyball courts and shuffleboard courts. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and recommend. Your view from our main lanai was beautiful!

Beautiful ocean front views

This until was great for bigger groups. The new fridge with an ice machine was a perk, but some of the other furniture could use updating. The AC had a bad sqeek but fortunately it wasn't too hot and we made do with fans. We loved both bathrooms as one was big enough to shower with toddler after a day at the beach. Great views from both bedrooms, living room and kitchen.

Watched the sunset from the balcony

Nice two-bedroom, two-bath unit. We asked for the floor to be washed as it felt gritty. They did so right away. The kitchen is well-equiped. We used the pool, hot tub and bbq. The area isn’t the greatest, and there are no sidewalks. Best to have a car to get around. We loved Wailea Beach. Sunsets were awesome!

Best Airbnb I’ve rented yet!

This property actually exceeded the photographs and was the most well appointed unit I have ever rented. There was not one thing we needed that we did not have in the unit. There were Tommy Bahama lounge chairs, the kitchen was fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, all utensils you could ever need, etc. The unit was clean and the view was beautiful. We especially loved how both bedrooms had stunning views. The master bed was very comfortable and the room layout was spacious, private and fantastic. We have never stayed in Kihei before so I was worried that it would not be as conveniently located as the more populated areas such as Lahaina. I was wrong. There is a large variety of food options and shopping within walking distance of the complex. I was also concerned that the beach might not be nearby or easily accessible but again I was pleasantly surprised. In addition the complex is two buildings down from an area called the “fishpond” where you can see turtles coming in the morning to sunbathe!!! Made my entire trip!!! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!!! 💕 🌺 🏝

Room for improvement

The condo itself was clean just missing kitchen towels. Had lots of supplies for a fun beach day. However the property was undergoing a lot of construction, more than was warned in ad. Hallways were covered in dust and debris. Was noisy during the day. Had to leave early for pest control. Pool was very dirty and not cleaned entire time we were there.

Pure Beauty! The most peaceful and relaxing vacation ever!

Our Family enjoyed this condo fully! We found lots of things to do and wanted to stay longer! Everything was centrally located to everything, beach, ocean views were amazing! There was lots of room and the amenities were great. Would love to stay in this condo again.

Amazing & Relaxing

We stayed here for 12 glorious days and it was wonderful and relaxing. Everyone we dealt with from the start was super friendly and helpful. I would have given 5 stars however we had an issue with the air conditioning for about half the time we were there. Being a woman in the middle of menopause that was a little issue with this girl. I have to say though they were very accommodating bringing us fans until the issue was corrected. Other than that little blip the stay was very nice. My husband and I were there for 5 days alone then our friends joined us for the rest of the stay. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed even boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and even a partial bag of ice in the freezer. The owners and managers were very helpful and friendly. We were on the 4th floor, they even had a shopping carts available to haul all your goodies from the parking lot up to the condo. The pool & hot tub were nice and of course the beach is only a short walk from the condo. The beach wasn't best place to swim but what a view and of course there were plenty of beaches for swimming only a short distance away. I would recommend this condo for couples or a family wanting to enjoy the beauty that is Maui!! Mahalo!

Perfect setting

Absolutely stunning! Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, wake up to the playful antics of the whales, enjoy kayaking, boogie boarding, snorkeling and frolicking in the waves. The unit is recently decorated, clean and well laid out. Sunny Maui vacations offered phenomenal service. Only reason I gave a 4 star and not a 5 is because the wifi service was slow and erratic even after they’d come to repair it. Overall this is a piece of heaven on earth.
