"I made arrangements with the hotel for a pick up at the airport upon my arrival. The driver was waiting for me at the front of the airport with a sign, made it very easy to navigate to the hotel after a very long day traveling. I was able to get dinner and a glass of wine from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was air-conditioned. The only thing that keeps me from giving it an excellent rating was the shower. Very little pressure, which was not an issue, but I never did figure out how to get hot water. It could’ve been on my own issue. It would have been nice if there was a little information given about how to get the hot water to come on. I was able to get a shower, even though it was a little chilly. Breakfast next morning was nice and filling. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again, but get directions on how to use the hot water in the bathroom ."

"Beautiful hotel with kind helpful staff. Big clean rooms and we enjoyed especially the pool areas. My only complain was the food menu, it was quite boring with only italien food. And no fish on the meny which was a big suprise to me. Also traveled with a child and it would be a appriciated with some child perspective and have some kids meals with reduced prices on the meny. Also I didn't like you could smoke in the resturant."

"Our stay at AMEG was fabulous. Staff were courteous and friendly. The food was outstanding and the junior suite gave us lots of room to spread out and relax. We used AMEG for a base to do day trips to Kilimanjaro including a day hike and back to the Mandura Huts and to the Materuni Village and Waterfall. AMEG even arranged a taxi drive into town for me to get more Shillings at the bank. If you ask they will let you know the correct spots to see Mt. Kilamanjaro from the lodge. We would highly recommend staying here."

The restaurant staff were also excellent, providing great service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience thanks to such a wonderful team."
