Great Beachfront Property

Very quiet and relaxing week! The rental is great for beach access and is close to a lot of things to do!

The condo was a major letdown. The sofa was in such no poor condition that I avoided sitting on it for the entire week. The outdoor lights didn’t work and were replaced once reported. The kitchen light didn’t work, and when the electrician replaced the bulbs, the cracked plastic cover wasn’t replaced, leaving me to prepare meals under harsh fluorescent lighting. Thank goodness the outdoor shower was new and nice because the inside baths were neither new nor nice. Perhaps the most disturbing part was the overall neglect of environmental responsibility. Each towel bundle was wrapped in plastic, and the unit lacked a recycle bin. Single-use plastic bags were used at EVERY store - grocery, clothes, gift stores, etc. It became apparent that the entire island shows a blatant disregard for waste management. It seems as if town officials and property owners have yet to understand that the health and wellbeing of their economy is directly linked to the health and wellbeing of the ocean. The amount of plastic, food waste, glass bottles and cans going straight into the trash (and ultimately the ocean) was SHOCKING!

Wonderful stay !!

The property was just what I wanted, To be as close and secluded to the beach as possible. Though in an 8plex, we felt isolated. Beach was literally steps away and when we sat on the 3rd floor balcony we had privacy looking out over the water and dunes. Great for families. Great for a romantic getaway. C Lose to everything, yet you felt like you have your own private get away.
