The house itself is beautiful and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, our experience with the management company overshadowed what could have been a great stay.On our first night we found cockroaches throughout the house-on the kitchen counters, in the sink, and in the bathrooms. When it was time for bed, we also discovered that none of the beds (which were made) had sheets, and there were no linens anywhere in the house. We ended up sleeping on mattress pads.The next morning, I emailed the management company since there was no number to call. Kristina responded quickly, which I appreciated. She apologized, arranged for someone to come clean the house, spray for bugs and make the beds, and she also offered to credit us for our first night's stay.The house was cleaned, treated and the beds were made as promised, so I appreciate that they addressed those immediate issues. However, it's been 2 weeks, and we have not received the credit that Kristina offered. I didn't request compensation-Kristina volunteered it. I've followed up several times and have been told she would get back to me, but my most recent message has gone unanswered. The property itself has a lot of potential, but the lack of preparation before our arrival and the failure to follow through on the promised refund has left us disappointed.
