Semi-Soundfront on Bay Drive - Whole Home, Large Yard and Decks!

One of the best locations in Kill Devil Hills on sought-after Bay Drive. Bay Drive Multi-Use Path is a great community feature in this neighborhood that stretches down the sound front with multiple community sound accesses, boat launch, community pier and parking to launch a kayak. The path leads to the Wright Brothers Monument, which is a 2.6 mile bike ride away!

After arriving at the cottage, walk up the spacious wrap around decking that boasts water views across Bay Drive. The first floor has a full kitchen, dining room, living room with smart TV, powder room and the master suite with private access to the backyard. The second level has two additional bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. There is a room in the back of the top level that joins the bedrooms and has one additional room. Great kids room or play area.

Perfect spot!

We loved staying here! The house is so comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. The location is great with a walking / bike oath across the street and the most amazing sunsets. Highly recommend this house!

Great vacation home

Beautiful and well stocked house. We ran into an issue with the AC on the first day but the owners immediately sent someone to fix it. They were very kind and responsive. Beautiful sunset views from the house and deck. We really enjoyed our stay.

Super house

We’d hoped to walk to the beach but the road you have to cross is near impossible. Otherwise the location is great! It’s quiet, clean, well decorated, and has amazing sunset views. The beach was more crowded than we like so since we had to drive we just went further south.

Our family vacation

My husband and I took my mom with us to OBX and loved our time there together. We visited up and down the main roads of Kill Devil Hills, and over to Manteo to check out history.The house is in a nice neighborhood, and you feel safe in the house that is well-furnished and enjoyably next to a sheriff’s house and car. The kitchen is well-furnished—they have a great selection of spices, multiple coffee machines and an electric kettle, plus convenient serving dishes and utensils. The owners were responsive to contact and sent good information laying out the check-in, the stay, and checkout.

Overall great spot for a get away to Kitty Hawk. Very nicely furnished. Close to a lot but quiet and wonderful views of the sound.

Another amazing stay!

This is our third stay and have enjoyed everytime. Owner is responsive and the house is always clean. The location and nearby walking path are some of best features! We'll be back!

Perfect Easter weekend stay

The home was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked. Kids loved the upstairs and little bonus room. It was a great location for exploring the outer banks.

Great property, great location!

Very clean and up to date. This property had everything we needed for our stay. It was very comfortable and stylish! The location was also amazing. There is a great walking path right outside the door. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the water. I would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation

My family spent 5 days at this home and had a wonderful trip! The house was well maintained and decorated, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the views of the sunsets over the bay were beautiful. We felt that the house was very clean upon arrival and loved that this house was convenient to restaurants and activities. We would definitely stay here again!

Great second stay!!!

This is the second time we've stayed and was as good of an experience as the first. The house is located in an ideal location on Bay Dr. with easy access to the walking/biking path. Interior was clean with lots of light and amenities. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. Looking forward to returning!

Just what we were looking for!

Great location, cute decor and trendy look, stocked with all that we needed, cozy and comfortable with a great view! Our family enjoyed all the home had to offer which made our trip easier. Very convenient to the shops and the beach is across the main road! We had a party of 7 and were able to fit perfectly with how the rooms/beds were arranged and were able to wash and dry as needed. Tip: I would suggest entering from Sportsman Street so you don’t have to make that awkward turn into the driveway.

Perfect getaway on OBX Sound!

The house was beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'd need for your stay. The property is right across from the water and has a good view of the sound side. There's a walking/bike path nearby that we took full advantage of. Excellent customer service. We had a small issue with the washer and had someone come by within 10 minutes! Our host had the issue resolved within half an hour. Overall great place to stay, good location and responsive host. We will be back!

Great family Vacation house

*5/5 Stars - A Perfect Beach Getaway!* We just returned from an incredible week-long stay at "Kill Devils Hills," a beautiful vacation home in the Outer Banks. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The house was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, with plenty of natural light and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the beach and close to all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook up a storm. The real highlight, though, was the spacious deck area, where we spent countless hours soaking up the sun, watching the sunset, and enjoying quality time with our family. The owners were super responsive and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We can't wait to come back and do it all again! *Pros:* - Beautifully decorated and well-maintained home - Perfect location - close to beach and amenities - Spacious deck area - Well-stocked kitchen - Responsive owners *Cons:* None! *Recommendation:* If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation with plenty of space to unwind, look no further than "Kill Devil’s Hill”

Soundfront Fun

My children and I came down for Spring Break. The kids were very impressed with the house and the surprisingly cute "play room" nook that connected their rooms. The separate beds in one room allowed for my teenagers to sleep in their own beds but still hang out together. I had my own room on the first floor away from the kiddos for some solitude. We spent tons of time in the large yard and on the deck. The house was in close proximity to beach parking. We also explored the island from Corrola down to Nags Head. Thanks for your thoughtful touches. The only tips I'd give is maybe a guest book and some local literature of restaurants and fun things to do nearby, what's going on that week/month, and tips on where to park for the beach etc. from that point of origin. Overall great stay!

First time In OBX

For the first timers view it’s a great location. Lots of beach access ocean side- it’s a busy main road but easy to get to. The only downsides were really dealing with probably being one of if not the first visitors there. The dishes and storage wear had all the stickers on them still so they weren’t washed and most of the bedding seemed unused and washed however they could have been. Some guests had some skin reactions to the bedding but it cleared up after we washed them all. Overall a great location and nice property with a little land to play on and grill. We were told it had a gas grill which was not there when we arrived but they dropped off a new one the day after. They are responsive but there wasn’t any hand soap, seasonings, tea kettle and not much storage containers which have typically been in others. That was really the only downside

Family Trip (several generations)

House was immaculate, beds were comfortable, couch was sprawling, sitting on the porch highly comfortable, no neighborhood issues, and superb location for viewing/sunset/bike riding with a little/evening walk. Would be nice to know about the $100 plus damage policy that was needed for groups over 4 prior to booking (it’s non refundable). A few small things were needed (light bulbs/batteries) and the host was highly responsive and dropped the items at our doorstep in a few hours (included bug spray which was nice). It would have been an improvement to have an 11am checkout versus a 10, as that’s a bit early to pack up and get the house tidied as the host would like. Housekeeping fee normal, items the host requested be done prior to leaving a bit higher than normal (strip the beds/start laundry/start and put away all dishes etc). Overall completely lovely and spacious for children through the elderly. Having a first floor bedroom was helpful for older patrons, and upstairs kids room was perfect. A few small tweaks and it would be a five star.
