Koko’s Cabana is a cozy newly renovated 3 bedroom designer Cottage Oceanside in popular Kill Devil Hills and is only about 350 steps to the 1st Street beach access. 1 and 1/2 bath indoors and an outdoor shower and toilet. Wonderful screened in back deck is perfect for hanging out, listening to the waves and has become a guest favorite. Dog Friendly! Features a large fenced-in lighted backyard with fire pit, Beach Cart, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, beach toys all included. All you need is your swimsuit and flip flops.

Great Pet-friendly getaway

Enjoyed my stay! The house was very clean and the location was great - very close to the beach and close to grocery stores and other shops. I brought my pup and found the house to be very pet-friendly since it has a securely fenced backyard as well as a gate on the front deck.

Great OBX house/ Super clean & cute!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Property manager was super responsive and gave us great restaurant recommendations! House was super clean and the beds were real comfy. The screened in back porch was a great place for family dinners and afternoon naps. We would totally stay at this property again!

This property was a great place for us to get away for a week. It was close to everything that we wanted to do and the house was a perfect size for my family. Also the property manager was great and very communicative.

Nice stay in OBX

This cottage was cute, clean and had all of the necessities to make our week stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was great with Publix right across the street and the beach just a 2 block walk the other direction. With the gas grill we were able to eat in several of our dinners. It was so nice to not have to worry about packing beach chairs and the beach wagon was fantastic, we want to buy one for our house!

Peaceful visit

Very clean and comfortable. Loved the backyard for the dogs. Great location. Very complimentary on check in/out times in off season. The back porch was my favorite space.One suggestion…the limitations of pets on furniture should be listed on property listing not just welcome letter for a “pet friendly” listing. At that time already purchased and may not be able to refund.I had a wonderful time!! Thank you.

Awesome home and location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Koko Cabana!! The house is beautiful and exactly as described. It’s in a perfect spot for getting to the beach and has several dining spots in walking distance, with an endless number of nearby choices within a 5-10 min drive! The house was also perfect for our fur baby! She loved the fenced in yard, dog friendly beaches, and blocks to walk around the neighborhood. Great stay and Clint responded immediately to any questions. Highly recommend!

Beachy clean

Clean & comfortable space. Loved the screened-in porch and variety of seating options. Bed in primary bedroom was very comfortable (not our typical experience in rentals) and our kiddo loved the bunk beds. House was the perfect size for our family of 3 (plus dog). Great to have a fenced in yard for the pup! We also loved the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Clint was quick to respond to our questions. Overall, a great experience.

Wonderful house!

This house is SOOO clean!! The decor is cozy and modern. We spent Thanksgiving weekend here and absolutely LOVED it. The king bed was super comfy. The big fenced in yard was perfect for our lab mix to run around in. A short walk to the ocean in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I had a question about a TV app and owner responded to me within 5 minutes. They have thought of so many necessities. You don't need to bring much. We will most definitely be staying here again!!

Review of Koko's Cabana

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO vacation rental, and our experience was absolutely delightful. The location was a true gem - nestled just a stone's throw away from the beach and conveniently close to stores and restaurants. This made our vacation not only relaxing but also incredibly convenient. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful provision of beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon to transport all our beach essentials. This thoughtful touch made our beach outings so much more enjoyable and hassle-free. It's evident that the hosts have put in a lot of effort to ensure their guests have everything they need for a memorable vacation. The well-equipped kitchen was another standout feature. Having a fully equipped kitchen with the basics allowed us to prepare our own meals whenever we felt like it. This convenience added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. It's clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for their guests. Additionally, the communication with the host was seamless and responsive, making the entire booking process and our stay stress-free. All in all, our time at this VRBO rental was a fantastic experience. The proximity to the beach, the thoughtful amenities, and the well-equipped kitchen all contributed to a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed our stay at Koko's Cabana. It was very clean when we arrived, and easy to access. The owner gave us very detailed information about the place before we arrived and was very easy to communicate with. It is very close to the beach, just a short walk. It is small but very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the screened in porch area.

Very clean. The location was perfect .3 mile walk to the beach that was it. Neighborhood was great to walk dogs as well. Back yard was fabulous for the dogs. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the morning drinking coffee and at night drinking a glass of wine and listening to the waves on the beach. Sunrise view was spectacular see photo below.

Perfect get away house

Close to everything! Beach, shops, dining, Wright brothers, sand dunes. Perfect for my family and dogs to stay at with plenty of room and the extra beach gear they provided came in handy! We would stay here again the next time we visit OBX!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! It was exactly as described. It’s in a great location with it being a short walk to the beach & close to restaurants & shopping. The place was incredibly clean & the king bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in a rental. When I had a question for the host he was very prompt in responding. But the best part for us was that it was pet friendly & it had a nice sized fenced in back yard. We were very pleased with our stay & look forward to staying there again!

Excellent location for beach access. Every thing was walking distance and the property literally has all necessities for the beach.
