"The space is clean and spacious. Communication with the concierge service was excellent. The unit could use some updating and basics like wine glasses and some more tea towels. The bed on the lower level squeaks a bit, but overall sleeps were comfortable. After fees, it’s a bit pricy when compared to other units we’ve rented or are aware of."

Ocean & Mountain View Captain`s Cottage

"We had a lovely time at the cottage. The views are phenomenal and the house is very well appointed. There are many spots to lounge outside if the weather is nice, and we ate most meals on the patio. The grill was great to cook up some salmon we caught and the property had all the proper pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. Our host was very communicative and checking in was super easy. The location cannot be beat as it is a 15 minute walk to the Snug Cove ferry and close to all the shops in town. We also enjoyed a great hike around Lake Killarney that was walking distance from the property. The one negative was that the house had lots of flies inside; a problem that didn't get resolved while we were there. We appreciated that the host dropped off some bug spray but it was ultimately a bigger problem with a dead animal in the ceiling that bug spray couldn't fix. I think it was bad luck on our end but I would message the host before booking just to make sure it's been resolved."

"What a gem! The coach house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, with a stocked kitchen and gorgeous yard. Accessibility to the trail network is a huge bonus. David is very friendly and his dogs are too. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back again. Love that it is a dog friendly rental."

"Host was very responsive and helpful, the check in process is super easy and friendly too. The room was a bit smaller than expected but had everything we needed, is a good space if you are going to be exploring outside and coming back to sleep, very good location and a short walk from businesses, trails and a beach."

"An absolute PERFECT stay! A few gals for a girls weekend… the place and grounds were quaint and absolutely spotless! Communication with the host was exceptional…even late at night with a small emergency… Can’t wait to come back! Loved seeing the wildlife too!"
