"We enjoyed our stay in Tahoe. The unit was clean and well appointed. It was small. The bed was in an alcove of sorts - not really a room. It is a good size for a couple, more than that would be pretty crowded. The complex it is in was very quiet. "

"Cabin needs upkeep. Bed springs broken. No AC! That needs to be listed. Never would have stayed. They threw a floor fan. At least a window ac or ceiling fan. Bathroom door broke. And way small. Will not be back. "

"The McLoud condos are wonderfully situated in Incline Village. We appreciated the ease of check-in, the cleanliness and comfort of the condo, the accessibility of our hosts when we had questions, the beauty and peace. We will definitely be returning!"

"The house was very clean, a great size, nice layout and easily accessible. Really nice place to stay for a night - wish we had longer to visit. Check in was mostly easy - we were given a pin for the keypad that didn't work initially, but the host was quick to respond and helped us resolve it with a new pin to get in the house. The house has cute outdoor patio spaces and is very walkable to a lot of things nearby, like restaurants, bowling alley, grocery store, etc. I would definitely stay here...

"A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."

The room it’s very quiet and cozy, with plenty of towels and small fridge and microwave. Close to Safeway and the best views of Lake Tahoe. I would come back. Thank you very much Jason and Kim and the front desk that gave us a map of the please to get familiar with the area!"

"Beautiful property and place! Love the calm setting away from the “touristy” part of Tahoe, but close to groceries, the beach, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again!"

Lakefront Home in Kings Beach w/ Views • Prime Location | Atkinson by Avantstay
8/10 Good
"This home was right across the street from the lake. It is also walking distance from the North Lake Tahoe Regional Park where one could hike. It was clean and well-appointed. All four bedrooms had their own baths which we appreciated. Communication with the property manager was timely. Both the stove and the refrigerator need to be serviced. I hope this is something that Avant Stay handles as I would otherwise give this property a 10/10 rating."
"Our unit was as pictured online: basic efficiency with Murphy bed (low to the floor so not for elderly or persons that have difficulty standing up from low chairs /beds), decor in knotty pine cabin motiff. Pleasantly surprised to learn that there were kayaks available on property right next to lake shore that could be signed out for one hour at a time for no additional cost to guests. Also pleasantly surprised to learn there was a fire pit in pool area, where we sat nightly and chatted with other guests / owners and watched gorgeous sunsets. Also the pool area is just slightly above the lake beach with glass "fence" enclosures so you can lay at the pool and look out with unobstructed views over the lake/mountains / trees / boats moored on the water next door etc. Way more beautiful than photos online can capture. This is a timeshare property so many other guests have been coming to the property / area and shared information about good restaurants in town, boat tours, bike rides, and things to do on all sides of the lake, and surrounding areas like Truckee etc. grills, picnic tables and ping pong table set up on property near pool/ beach and the pier with a ladder made it convenient getting in / out of lake without walking on pebbles on beach area to access water. Lake water is completely clear and can see to bottom perfectly and sandy bottom which I appreciated as I do not like being in lakes when I can not see what is around me, so this was also a very pleasant surprise!"

"Enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Perfect for our party of 6. Owner went above and beyond to welcome us to her VRBO with homemade brownies. Appreciated all the extras available in the home and attention to detail regarding our stay."
Lake Views from every room; Hot tub; Dog Friendly; Steps to year round fun
10/10 Excellent
"Great host with a cute little cabin near the lake. Older style cabin, 2 small bedrooms upstairs with a small bath downstairs. Awesome back yard packed with a nice grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Plenty of room to sit out back and relax. Also, cabin has 2 kayaks and kayak haulers - no direct beach access but short walk to Kings Beach. There’s a small shed full of other gear as well, 2 bikes, some beach chairs, etc. The cabin is also pet friendly so we were able to bring furry friend."
"Although the bedroom spaces were a tad small with the sloping walls, my four and seven year old kids had a blast with the space. My wife and I enjoyed it, and the neighborhood is quiet and serene. About a 20 minute drive from Sand Harbor, and 5 minutes from Kings Beach. The mattress was too firm for my taste, but that's a personal preference. All the linens were clean, the place was clean, and we enjoyed the space. We arrived early, and be aware that the locks will not be ready until check-in time exactly. But I got on the phone with them, and in under 30 minutes they had quickly sped us through to get a code and get in the house. The area is wonderful. Just be aware that many things like the restaurants or Sand Harbor require reservations ahead of time.I hooked my laptop into the TV for the kids so I can't say anything about that. There's a few games for people to play as well.Overall a really nice space."
