Welcome to Barrett's Mountain Studio- a cozy and peaceful retreat at the foot of Bays Mountain Park and planetarium in Kingsport, TN. This 24x36 studio is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families looking for a quiet place to relax while staying close to everything.

Inside, you’ll find a plush queen bed, a modular couch that can sleep two small children or an extra guest, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a hot plate, air fryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave, and mini refrigerator. The studio was perfect for us and the furnishings were comfortable and cozy. Our hosts even had complimentary water, snacks, and coffee waiting on us. Even had doggie treats for our dogs. We felt right at home.

Everything you need and so much better than a hotel room. The studio is so charming and well appointed. It’s a large comfortable space so you definitely don’t feel cramped. Communication with the property owners was top tier. They knew we’d be arriving late and made sure to leave lights on for us. It was easy to find and in a nice safe area. The bed was comfy, kitchenette has all the necessities, including coffee, tea, bottled water and even a variety of small treats for us as well as our dogs. The mini split unit did a great job of keeping us warm and there was plenty of hot water for showers. It’s located close to a Dollar General so you can make a snack run, a couple of gas stations and several fast food restaurants. It’s also a short drive to Downtown Kingsport from the property. We stayed for 6 days and we would definitely stay here again! 10 out of 10!
