"I wanted a good hotel by the Edmonds beach and this place was perfect for me. One minute to the fantastic Puget Sound beach front in Edmonds. A stroll by the harbor. A walk out to the end of the dock to watch the ferries come and go right in front of you. The salt air, view of the incredible Sound, Mt Baker. Possible seals. Maybe even an orca. Best western"

"Great place, nice views. Parking beyond two cars requires care, and the beach is 140 stairs and inaccessible at high tide. But those are fairly minor complaints for what was a beautiful stay. I would book it again if I were to come back."
Waterfront Kingston Getaway on Puget Sound!

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights (10 people). The home is beautiful, and the views are gorgeous. The kids LOVED the game room. The grassy area was perfect for lawn games, and the Bluetooth speaker in the living room was a nice surprise. The host was responsive when I contacted him.A few things I wish we had known ahead of time that may have influenced our choice to book the home (and you may want to check on in advance):- It realistically accommodates 9. There is one single "sofa bed" (not 2 doubles), and it is thin, short, and futon-like. It was very uncomfortable, and bedding was not provided (the host seemed surprised it was in the listing when I contacted him to ask about bedding).- The listing includes "beach" as a location type. The home is right on the water, but there is no beach access from the property.- If you have a crowd, bring extra towels or plan to do laundry, as only a few are provided.- Only the toilet paper that was already on the rolls was provided - we had to get extra after the first night.- Cleaning supplies like counter spray and a broom were not available to help keep things tidy during the stay.- Landscapers spent several hours on the property Saturday (we eventually had to ask them to leave before they finished so we could use the outdoor space). It's unclear if that is a regular time for them to be there.With some minor changes to the listing (and coordination with property management), the home would be a five-star rental."

"Retreat is the perfect way to describe this charming farm house. The property is quiet and restful even with the roosters and geese at the neighboring farm. (They were great!)The house is well equipped with laundry and kitchen supplies and beds comfy. Highly recommend!"
