Kinloch - On the Lake's Doorstep

  • Very tidy fully furnished cosy two bedroom holiday bach situated in beautiful Kinloch. The property also has a standalone cabin with a double bed. Available for short term rental.

    Just a short walk to the lakefront and shop. The property is fully fenced and very private with deck overlooking the Kinloch reserve. A peaceful and private setting for a getaway holiday!

    This Kinloch bach includes cosy and compact open plan kitchen / living, one queen bedroom, and small second bedroom with bunks. The cabin has a double bed. Blankets and duvets provided but need to bring own sheets, pillowcases, and shower towels please.

    Brand new bathroom and laundry with spacious decking at the rear of the property to relax and enjoy a BBQ.

    Enjoy your stay in Kinloch - a beautiful and peaceful spot just a 20 minute drive from Taupo!

Really nice clean place with modern appliances and furniture. Had everything we needed as a family of four during our one week stay. Close to the Kinloch General store and local walking tracks. Laundry facilities were excellent, although the dryer needed a couple of runs at a load to get everything properly dry. The shower was awesome; best water pressure I've ever experienced and fitted with a shower dome so it "saunas" nicely. Thanks for hosting us!

The Kinloch accommodation is in close proximity to the lake and 20kms from Taupō village. The accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation consists of 2 dwellings. The main house contains 2 bedrooms. The master is spacious with a queen and the secondary room has double bunks suitable for small children. The second dwelling in the rear garden is a small cabin with a double bed. The main house is well equipped with an excellent kitchen. The bathroom is very nice and the shower offers excellent water pressure. The hosts have stocked the kitchen and bathroom very well with all staple requirements. 1 thing to note is NO LINENS OR TOWELS are supplied with this property… which as an international visitor is quite odd… as no one travels with these items on an international holiday. The nightly rate should be slightly increased to ensure these items are supplied.

We had a fantastic long weekend at the property. It is well presented and very well equipped. Great location- quiet with views of the reserve and very close walking distance to the shop and lake. Very dog friendly and fully fenced. The communication with the hosts was very good and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at this property. As last time, the bach is super-clean, warm and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. There's off-street parking, the area is nice and quiet and the cabin is perfect for our oldest teen. Such a pretty location, we love the lake front and wee marina. The corner shop has great takeaways and anything you need to top up on. Grant and Tarsha are lovely to deal with. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent fit-out and perfect location

We really enjoyed our 2 days here despite the cool weather. The kitchen was amazing and had lots of extras. The only negative is that there is no table although there is one folding one outside that can be used.
