AnNo—idyllic and rejuvenating in Kirchdorf i. Wald, Grünbach District

Our 4-star holiday rental is located in the idyllic village of Grünbach, about 3 km from Kirchdorf im Wald. It is particularly well-suited for 1–2 adults or 2 adults with a toddler up to 3 years old. For this configuration, we have also received a 4-star rating from the German Tourism Association.

Accommodation for up to 4 guests is still possible thanks to the sleeper sofa in the living room or in the “Hobbit” room. However, we expressly point out that the apartment’s classification does not apply to occupancy by 4 people.

Our holiday apartment is approximately 60 m² in size. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), a wardrobe, etc., as well as a pull-out sofa bed (1.35 x 1.90 m) in the living room. The living room features a cosy dining area with a corner bench, chairs, and a table. Of course, there’s also a TV with satellite reception. Furthermore, the separate, fully equipped kitchen—complete with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, etc.—is directly adjacent to the living room. The beautiful bathroom, bathed in morning light, features a large bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. A mirror cabinet is mounted above the sink. The toilet is located in a separate room.
For guests travelling with children, we can offer our new “Hobbit” room as an alternative to the sleeper sofa in the living room. Although the room is very small (approx. 3.0 x 2.0 x 1.7 m), it is incredibly cosy. The bed measures 1.40 x 2.00 m. There’s also an electric fireplace and a closet in the hallway. Of course, the “Hobbit” room is also perfect for the young at heart.

The garden, complete with lounge chairs, a brick barbecue, and a beer table set under the pavilion, invites you to relax.


Starting in February 2021, we’ll be offering two new features at our holiday rental in Grünbach: a breakfast service and a romantic wellness bath.

Breakfast service and chilled drinks:

When you make your reservation, please send us a message indicating that you’d like the breakfast service.

Let us know the evening before what time you’d like breakfast the next morning, and we’ll place the prepared breakfast platters in a separate refrigerator in an adjoining room—and of course, we’ll also provide the fresh rolls and bread of your choice.

Breakfast 1: Sausage, cheese, jam and honey, butter, and rolls/bread -- €6.80

Breakfast 2: Same as Breakfast 1, but with an egg added --- €7.20

Breakfast 3: Muesli (upon request)

We’re happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible.

We also offer a small selection of chilled drinks.


Romantic Relaxation Bath:

In the spacious bathtub of your holiday rental—which easily accommodates two people for a romantic, relaxing soak—we offer the following. We’ll prepare the bathwater with a fragrant bath lotion, place a wooden tray over the bathtub, and set out two small bottles of wine and some snacks on the tray. Candles in the room are, of course, a given. If you’d prefer a beer with a hearty snack, we can certainly arrange that as well.

The cost for two people is €18 per romantic wellness bath.
