"The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming! The food was great, we chose the Japanese style meal and loved that we got to experience new foods with a traditional feel. Absolutely recommend getting the Japanese style meal options! The room was very comfortable and relaxing! The public bath was very nice and relaxing. Very walkable to prime Nara locations, I cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely be coming back!"

"Overall everything was great, except the room doesn’t have a night light or floor light can leave on while you are sleeping. We left the ceiling light on in toilet while we are sleeping, but it’s too bright shine through the glass from bathroom, we didn’t get to sleep at all, that’s one thing I hope the hotel can fix it. We were enjoyed our stay, hopefully the problem can be solved, and I will bring my family and grandchildren to visit and stay again."

"This is one of a handful of classy historic hotels near major rural attractions in Japan. A real old fashioned high-end style and treatment that makes you think you're in the 1930s. The location is convenient to the Nara Park where the historic attractions are located. It is not in walking distance of either train station."
