"The property is very nice and had no problems with staff. They were very nice and helpful. However, for those looking to access public transportation this hotel is not for you. I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "Had an awesome stay here. The view of the lake was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service throughout was fantastic. The entire team was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely love to come back!"

"All the staff were really nice and friendly, but especially the young lady serving us our dinner, as well as, the gentleman (who learnt his English in NZ:)) at at the reception. Lovely views over the lake. We have also enjoyed the dinner served in our room. I would only say that the hotel is quite dated and has musty smell throughout. Still was great to experience traditional Japanese hospitality."

"A most excellent property and staff! Highly recommend - 5 ***** star rating. View of Fuji-San is amazing. Gardens and Koi pond are well maintained. Spacious room with plenty of storage for luggage, large closet, sofa and chair. Onsen and breakfast buffet are fantastic! Staff is very helpful and kind. Hourly Shuttle service to/from Kawaguchiko Station was very useful, 10 min away. Nabeya Japanese restaurant was delicious and only 3 min walk away."

"The Hotel was very good for what it was… a dated 4 star theme park hotel. I booked the Mt Fuji view room but it was too cloudy to enjoy the view (no one’s fault) … the onsen was closed too which I might have missed a notification about. The room itself was well maintained, we had a sofa bed extended out for my daughter… so it was slightly cozy but comfortable. Importantly it was clean and everything worked like it should. We enjoyed the fact that it had private access to the Fuji Q theme park with discounted full-day passes. Staff were helpful, very good."
