"Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. "a terrible, small, smelly caravan awaited us with a toilet and shower around the corner in a dark small outside room. No cookware and cutlery were outdated and old. We did not stay there and booked another accommodation, therefore needed to pay twice for accommodation for our holiday. When confronted the owner about the crappy caravan she just replied " In 6 months time, you will laugh about your experience at The Stables""

"We booked what we thought was a high ceilinged private villa with a hot tub - but instead were told that it was a lower ground floor villa with an extra daily rate to pay for the hot tub - even though we’d paid a premium to specifically get this benefit. So we changed our booking to a room in the hotel with a stunning view across the lagoon - which is what we wanted in the first place. The hotel then kindly included breakfast in our hotel room rate, as this did not have a self catering facility. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The host were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations and any questions we had. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The beds ensured a great night’s sleep, and everything was thoughtfully prepared to make us feel at home. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the house. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and lovingly prepared each morning. It was the perfect start to our day. The location was also ideal – quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to local attractions and transport. Overall, the guesthouse exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and high-quality place to stay. We will definitely come back!"
