The Pup Deck is a pet-friendly home that sits on the ocean side of NC-12, with the beach less than a quarter mile walk away (with no streets to cross!). The home is also close to Currituck sound, so grab the kayak and enjoy the calm waters.

Every bedroom in this charming home celebrates a different breed of dog. There's something for everyone in the family here, including your pet.

The Pup Deck has a new commercial-grade network system for an outstanding internet and wi-fi experience. And it has TWO home theater systems in the mid-level lounge and the top-level Great Room. Music lovers will appreciate the iPad controllers for multiple Sonos speakers throughout the house to provide a superior audio experience. All the home's TVs are wall-mounted 4K smart TVs with a standard interface. It also has an extensive DVD and book library for adults and children alike.

The Pup Deck has a private pool, spa and two seating areas: a Great Room overlooking the sound on the top floor with a big screen TV, audio features, home theater and a huge sectional couch, and a Lounge on the middle level with a big screen TV, audio features and home theater.

The ground floor has a newly renovated game room with modern lighting, flooring, and a beautiful American-made vintage pool table. There's even an outdoor ping pong table in the carport. The large, well-equipped kitchen offers new stainless-steel appliances, quality stainless cookware, flatware, dinnerware, and serving pieces to satisfy even the most serious cooks.

All six bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The two master bedrooms on the top floor are even remote-worker-friendly. This dog-friendly property boasts new, memory foam, king-size mattresses in four of its bedrooms.

At night, this home sparkles like a precious jewel, thanks to gorgeous outdoor lighting that ensures your safety while you enjoy the pool or the spa in the evening.

The SonoPad system was huge plus and the owner/beach reality were great whenever we need them. The only thing we had an issue with was our top floor was little dirty upon arrival. Overall fantastic place close to restaurant and shops with direct beach access straight down the road! Highly recommend!

The house had two private outdoor showers to wash off the sand when we returned. The pool was just the right size for our grandchildren. They loved swimming and playing in the pool. The location is very nice. We barely left the house after our arrival.

We visited Duck and stayed in this house with grandparents, kids, and aunts/uncles. The house was lovely and VERY well stocked! The pool area and downstairs game room was very nice. The access to the beach was a further walk than we expected, so we did drive our car down with all the beach gear and park it in the available spots closer to the beach. With younger kids or older adults this would probably be more challenging. The sound access was closer and we did visit there some too, although it was weedy when we visited, so the sound beach was not great for playing, but worked for fishing and kayaking. Overall, we had a love stay in this amazing house, but will likely stay closer to the ocean on our next visit.

The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and there is ample seating for the family in the living room. The pool is wonderful with lots of lounge chairs, and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. Nice location with a short walk to the ocean with a lifeguard stand at the end of the road Our two dogs loved all the thoughtful extras like a dog bed in the screened in porch. We all enjoyed the retro video game and the pool table! I've already recommended the house to friends and will be back again!

Great beach house in Duck, NC

Our family consists of seven adults ages 35-84 and five grandchildren ages 3.5 to 12. The Pup Deck house was perfect! Each family had their own bedrooms and bathroom. Jack and Jill style set up was so helpful for the two families with children. The two king suites on the top level were perfect for the grandparents and great grandfather. The house is VERY WELL EQUIPPED with everything you need. Tons of dishes, pots and pans. The pool is a perfect size and kept the kids busy when not at the beach. The bedrooms are large, and the dressers were great! Desks in some bedrooms and also a TV in each. Very spacious! The game room with pool table and arcade game is wonderful! The entire family really enjoyed it! There were twelve of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. We highly recommend this beach house and give it an excellent rating! Thank you PUP DECK for a wonderful family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is better and brighter in person. It’s bigger and cleaner than in the photos. It fit our family and the beds were very comfortable, even for my 3 guys who are over 6’2”. There was space for everyone and the dogs were very happy! The kitchen is larger, more modern, and better equipped than in the photos. The book collection was outstanding. It’s a short walk to the sound and the beach. The cute town center is only 1.2 miles away, a blessing when the traffic was slow. The pool was great to jump into after a very hot day at the beach or in the evening after dinner. We were able to have the space and time to spread out, and to truly relax. No worries about making beds or finding towels. We’ll be back!
