Excellent doorman friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front desk on our arrival. No warm greeting and a somewhat frosty reception. This made us feel uncomfortable.
Very disappointed with the bedding, it was very poor. Not Egyptian cotton sheets. Worn fitted sheets of a poor standard. Charging for parking is not acceptable at a hotel at this price point.
Great staff, Nice hotel. Two issues. First of all there was only a ski shuttle in the morning and not return (all other hotels had a return shuttle). Not great service, temperature and cleaners of pool area was not ok. Great we could charge our car
This is a world class hotel. Service minded, but without pretentions, with the austrian discretion and elegance. Very good location, just 10 min from the train station or the city center including the Hahnenkamm ski lift, but taxi to the lift is available from 8:30 to 10:30 as a courtesy. The room was very confortable, bed included with a large elegant bathroom with two sinks and both shower and a nice bathtube where you could relax when you missed the spa after-ski. The spa area is elegant and has two pools, two saunas all included in the room price. One of the pools has jets that are the perfect massage after a long ski day. The only suggestion would be a slightly higher temperature in the jet pool as more relaxing. The breakfast is great with fresh food, good local bread, omletts, fried eggs, cappuccinos, on demand and local dessert. Just perfect to give you energy before the slopes. And in the evening, you can have an esquisite dinner in the quiet and elegant lounge area without need to book a restaurant - the food is excellent. As it was the end of season and the resorts is at lower altitude, it was not top weather, first days were slushy on the slopes with hard packed snow. The following days came a lot of snow but it was foggy. Anyway, there were 2-3 days with sunny moments and relaxing time. The resort is almost empty and you have a lot of place on the slopes. I recommend this hotel and I hope to come back as soon as possible. Probably hard to book on high season.
I never leave reviews but this hotel is now my favorite hotel. It is so warm, the staff is i creditable, the massage therapist is the best, the front desk was so helpful, the dinning staff are better than the best restaurants in the U.S., house keeping os the best I have every seen, and Marco in the bar is my new best friend. I wish I could have stayed longer. They are the beat and I look forward to my next visit. Do yourself a favor and book this place for you next vacation.
Beautiful property and very well maintained. Staff were exceptional and always tended to our needs immediately. I love the breakfast spread so much, so many options and very nutritious. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kitzbühel.
Good hotel with nice rooms. Central location but still some distance to the main skilifts (however, shuttle offered but only until 10/10.30 in the morning.
SPA was not great, had a weird smell which got ourselves and other guests coughing while in the pool. Temperature in water was quite low/cold.
Breakfast was very good.
A little bit of a walk to get into the proper town. The room was so dark with all the lights on I needed to use a flashlight to get around. Who knows what I left behind in the pitch dark. My biggest annoyance was while I had the half board which included dinner, they charged 7euro for a bottle of water which was less than 1e at the supermarkets.
The property and rooms were really nice and newly renovated. The spa staff were very nice and easy to talk to. The front desk reception people were the least friendly customer service people I have ever dealt with in my decades of travel. They clearly do not like non-Austrian or non-German tourists and made it clear to any guest who could not speak German. I would say that they were genuinely unhelpful and provided little to no customer service during my 5-night stay at the property. For example, when I asked for an additional key, I was told that our room was limited to "2 keys per room" but 2 hours later I saw that a German guest was allowed to get another key when they asked in German. When I asked for help finding a local ski instructor or help with the local ski rental shop, the receptionist told me to "go to Google" and that he did not ski and couldn't help despite clearly not being busy. Their lack of courtesy for their non-German speaking guests is very clear and they obviously would prefer to only host Germans or Austrians in their hotel. If that's the case, then they should clearly write it in their hotel description. Worst service experience ever from the reception. I was also shocked to hear the owners are Marriott which is surprising from a global chain.
We recently stayed at this hotel as a family, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful the hotel is. The interiors are stunning — elegant, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Every space feels luxurious yet welcoming, and the attention to detail in the décor and ambience is remarkable.
The facilities are outstanding. The spa is peaceful, immaculate, and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes. Every area, from our room to communal spaces, was spotless — the hotel’s cleanliness is exceptional. The complimentary shuttle to the ski lift was a fantastic bonus, making our stay seamless and stress-free.
As big food lovers, the dining experience was another highlight. Every meal was sensational — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and crafted with care. The quality was genuinely on par with Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve dined in, and we looked forward to every meal.
The staff made our stay unforgettable — warm, professional, and always going above and beyond. A special mention to the restaurant team, who made every meal not only delicious but truly enjoyable and memorable.
This hotel is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone seeking beautiful surroundings, outstanding food, and exceptional service.
