"The hostess's were charming, caring and genuinely interested in the quality of our stay. The room was bright, spacious and had the most amazing view. Attention to detail was not spared - from little touches of water and a good night chocolate on our bedside tables, to filter coffee (not just sachets) provided, beach towels available and lots of vanity touches. "

"Did not go to the Spa and di not have a pet. The apartment was clean and serviced very day. Staff were friendly. "

"What made our stay was Mercia - she was charming, calm & warm. Although the new owner is upgrading we had issues with our coffee making facilities in our room which we understand is in hand. Glorious breakfast,and couple of hours by the pool. We will for sure go back! 💯 "

"The cottage was as charming as described. Our host provided wood, which was lovely in the indoor fireplace on a wet chilly day. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor shower was exactly as described. A small hiking trail on site, resident wildlife and quiet made it a peaceful getaway. "

"We had an amazing stay at The Fernery. What makes this place amazing is the surroundings - overlooking the gorge and forest is nothing short of spectacular. The hot tubs and jacuzzis were incredible and we also made use of the spa which was wonderful too. The ladies there are fantastic. We thought the restaurant food was excellent and the staff serving there are great too."

"Breakfast and service was good. However, I was double-charged since Expedia charged my card for all 3 rooms, and then Gina at reception said that only 1 room was paid for. So, we had to pay for the remaining 2 rooms all over again!!! Their credit card machine wasn't working. Therefore, had to pay in cash."
