"Ein wunderschönes, sehr toll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus im Grünen, mit großem Garten. Etwas schwer zu finden, dennoch idyllisch gelegen, perfekter Ausgang für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Der Parkplatz und das Tor könnten besser ausgeleuchtet werden. Aber rundum alles super!"

"The heading says it all. The location is only a few minutes walk from the old town square and the house includes access to a garden with a pond and some chairs. Everything in the apartment is excellent. The house keeping had made everything super nice and welcoming and there was everything we needed, even cleaning tabs, soap, etc. The beds are probably the best I've ever slept in and are of high quality, just like everything else. Supermarket a 5 minute walk. And you can hear the steamtrain multiple times a day! Great location for day trips by car. The Harz region has a lot to offer. Highly recommended! "The hotel is conveniently located within walking distances of city center. Vibrant town with shopping and dinning close. Tourist information was available in the lobby. Language barrier upon checking in making it a challenge to get checked in. The automated check in, emails, reception all in German. Be patient during you stay if using translation apps. We were able to get by without any major issues. The breakfast in the morning is worth the extra charge. Nice setting and convenient so you don’t have to leave the hotel. Overall, our stay was pleasant and would recommend this location. "

Relaxing in the hills

"Chosen for its location, the hotel did not disappoint. Seemed popular amongst the older generation as a holiday base, offering half-board at a good standard and included drinks with dinner. My junior suite was enormous but no air-con, although there were plenty of windows, which opened fully. Not much to do in the locality and the exterior could do with a facelift. Good wi-fi speed. My only real gripe was the very thin curtains, which did little to block the early morning light. "

"I have just spent 3 night and found the location perfect. My interest are the steam trains there. The room was clean and tidy. The only thing missing is tea and coffee making facilities? But you can obtsin this from reception. Parking was a bonus free, unlike in Berlin today. The place to stay if you just want to travel to the top of the Brocken mountain. Also speak good english as the morni g person comes from U K originally. "
