Clean rooms, kitchen facilities were good as we arrived on Christmas Day so nothing was open. Glad to be able to cook a meal for my family on this day. Hot tub was a lovely touch. The fridge was also very useful since we had a few items to chill. The proximity to the shark dive center is also very convenient. Definitely can recommend.

Booked a one night stay with my Dad as a last minute thing. Was expecting cheap and cheerful, what we got was a million times better! Great host, room massive and spotless. The view from the balcony was incredible! Breakfast was delicious. Communal lounge area was a pleasant surprise :) would definitely return.

A little gem!!

From the beginning we were greeted with smiles and courtesy. What a lovely little guesthouse. Lovely rooms and seating areas/balcony. Great breakfast too. Very clean and felt very safe there. Our hosts Marius and Nicola were superb. Our only disappointment was that we were only staying for 1 night!!

Great place!

Everyone at this guest house is lovely! The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the gentleman even made sure I had extra fruit. It is also walking distance from a very nice restaurant and the shark diving companies and dock. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic guest house with ocean view

Monique was lovely and super helpful. The guest house is clean and comfortable and if you book early enough you have a wonderful suite with an ocean view. It’s super convenient if doing the shark cage dive. You can walk to the harbor.

Es ist eine der Besten Unterkünfte in der ich jemals gewesen bin. Die Besitzer Nicola und Marius waren sehr hilfsbereit und Herzlich von anfang bis ende meines Aufenthaltes. Es gibt Herausragendes Frühstück und es mangelt einem an nichts. Die Aussicht aus meinem zimmer auf den Atlantik war der absolute Wahnsinn! Zum Haitauchen und einem hervorragenden Restaurant sind es 50m über die Straße. Alles im allem kann ich jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen.

Ended up with the whole place to ourselves! Rene was b3yond hospitable and made us feel like family. Let us shower after our shark dive so we wouldn't be dirty for our drive afterwards Nd allowed us to help ourselves to any food in the fridge. Had suggestions for dinner options and lovely views from all parts of the house. Onsite parking was convenient and was walking distance from the shark do d companies and the launch site. It was SO nice to quickly come back to shower and still make it back to lunch and the final recap

The facilities were excellent. A great common room with amazing views of the bay, spacious and well appointed, clean rooms. It's across the street from the Great White House restaurant and >5min walking distance to all of the shark diving tour companies. In addition, the customer service was excellent. We had a late check in and Rene came in after hours just to help us out and give us the full tour. Monique was super friendly the next day. Highly recommend if you are in Gansbaai

Very friendly and helpful hosts from booking TIL departure. Great location for shark diving. Beautiful rooms. Excellent continental breakfast but suggest cooked option could be improved if done to order. Bigger towels in bedroom would be only other area for improvement. Exceptionally friendly and helpful. Monique couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. She was there to offer advice on what to do locally and give directions. We were right across the street from an amazing restaurant and the perfect location for whale watching and shark dive....only a short walk to the port.

Home from Home

Great friendly welcome from Monique, making us feel so at home! The property is over a couple of floors with communal lounge and kitchen, breakfast area. The rooms are immaculate and spacious with huge bathroom and shower facilities. The deck area was an added bonus with a quiet aspect but really enjoyable. I was surprised that the boat tour company I booked with just opposite so really handy. We loved the quietness of the area and opted to stay another night, booking another room in error but that was no problem for the BnB manager who changed this for us. Monique offered lots of advice and help with other areas to visit, Great place to stay !

Even before I checked in, Asst Manager Monique had been giving me advice and offering to book restaurants and transport, and even searching the Internet for info on the Highgate ostrich farm and Cango Caves which I wished to visit. And host Rene’s was the most warm & welcoming reception I’ve ever come across, showing us around the House, telling us to relax and enjoy ourselves, even helping us with our laundry, and packing a takeaway breakfast for our early check out! Awesome! The White Shark Guest House was clean and like a home away from home. It was just across the road from the meeting point for my shark cage diving tour with Marine Dynamics. Location is scenic and safe for walking around.
