Excellent value for money

I have stayed at The Royal Guest House three times now and each time I have had a great experience. The manager is friendly and the rooms are really quite nice - modern and comfortable with each room having a microwave, fridge, plates, utensils and even a sink to wash dishes. All in all excellent value for money.

I love to Inform so the place can improve to get

The walls are not sound proof. The other rooms noises were so clearly heard. Even from bathroom. There is no facility for emergency lights when load shedding time. Floor were shaking while walking. Reception is like no instructions no information. No undercover parking. But the room is beautiful and has all facilities for a stay. Just improve safety and security.

worst bed we have ever slept in. Not recommended

we just given a key for room 9 on arrival and shown the room from a distance. the room was acceptable for a lodge but it was the furthest from the parking area and when i asked if this was the luxury room, i was told it is the room you booked. it looked very different from the pictures on Hotels.com. we freshened up and left for the event we were attending in Klerksdorp. when we returned, the bed was the worst we have ever slept in and my wife and I tossed and turned all night and woke up the next day with backache. we do not recommend room 9. the kettle was not working and we phoned the number on the website which rand for a long time but when they did answer, the kettle was promptly replaced. I complained about the bed and the reply was, ok. We definitely do not recommend room 9. Will we stay here again, NO.
